The Mario helps me get they walls and other hidden tricks

My kids have been hooked by Amiibos since Nintendo first released them last year. While they enjoy using them with their games, they are just as happy putting their Amiibos up on a toy shelf to be displayed with their other action figures. For the most part I have not been that interested in Amiibos but once I saw this figure I knew I would have to pick one up. I looked for months to find one and had completely given up until I just lucked across one at Best Buy. The figure itself is very high quality and it is much bulkier than virtually any other Amiibo that I have seen. If you are buying this to use with some of your Wii U games please note it is only compatible with Super Mario Maker and Super Smash Bros although Nintendo could patch in compatibly with other games later.

This is a very LARGE amiibo figure. It's quite heavy compared to the others. I love the retro feel of it. It's a really creative, cool figure for Nintendo's 30th anniversary. Any Nintendo fan or collector should have this!

The detail that Nintendo packs into these tiny pieces of plastic is amazing! AND they sell them for only thirteen dollars-- this is a steal. Plus, if you are into collecting, this specific amiibo can be resold for cash-money. If you see it in a any store, this amiibo is a must-buy.

I love Amiibo and have quite a few other ones of my favorite characters. However, they're usually just little action figures on a pedestal. This Amiibo is pretty hefty, but in a good way that makes it feel more like a figurine than a tiny toy; I'm proud to display the Classic Mario Amiibo. Though it may sound a tad strange, the details and design of the little 8-bit figure are amazing, and really makes it all the more worth purchasing. Plus, the in-game bonuses are always welcome, and this one provides a unique extra for Super Mario Maker!

I use amiibos as wonderful display figures. For $13 these figures have wonderful details and are usually from more obscure franchises (obscure for western audiences at least). My Mario 30th anniversary comes with no flaws and the box is mint condition. This amiibo is HUGE compared to others! I hope the Modern variant comes to Best Buy.

This Amiibo is a very good addition to my collection. The level of detail of the figurine is high and has a durable feel to it. Nice! Works great with many Nintendo wii u and 3ds games. It has been great fun to use my classic Mario Amiibo with super smash brother games. A purchase well worth it.

This Mario Amiibo is a very cool homage to Super Mario Bros. It has a very sturdy build and is quite large compared to some Amiibos. I am very happy with this purchase as this works with many Nintendo games! It even has functionality with paper jam Mario. A good buy!

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Super Mario with this Amiibo! It adds a very cool extra power up to Super Mario Maker and is a bit larger than most other figures. I love the 3D pixelated look and it is currently a highlight on my shelf.

Mario in this real life classic look is so beautiful. I never thought he'd look so cool in person. Worth if you can grab one. His compatibility with Mario Maker is also hilarious.

I was really skeptical about how the amiibo would look when it came out but I shouldn't have question Nintendo. The look is great from all sides, one of my new favorites.

This is by far one of the heavier Amiibos released to date, and in my opinion, one of the cooler concepts for one in that it is "8-bit". Fairly tall as well, it looks good with any collection or by itself.

The 8Bit Mario Amiibo is much larger than I thought it would be. It makes the biggest amiibos look small. Great Amiibo. Love the design. Go Nintendo!

This amiibo looks amazing. I can imagine how much time it took to make this. It really does look pixelated (if that's a word) just like NES Mario. If you can find it buy it you wont be disappointed.

im not a big amiibo guy by any means, but this one is awesome. it has a great look, and overall some solid functionality. even if you never open the package, its a cool thing to have around.

This Amobo figure, as an Anniversary series, as musch to the Amibo collection. Well worth with other Super Mario series figures if you have them. Looks great, sort of lego figure!

I wasn't interested in this Amiibo until I saw it in person. It's bigger and more detailed than I was expecting from the pictures, really nicely done. I'd recommend it for sure.

This is probably one o the best amiibos that nintendo has released. It brings back awesome memories. The amiibo is heavy and made very very nicely. Get it!

My daughter loves this character. It adds the Mario amiibo details into the games. Same as any other Mario amiibo does. Throwback design is pretty cool

Very cool looking 8-Bit Mario, works great with the new Super Mario Maker game for the Wii U! Love how they turned the 8-Bit Mario into an amiibo.
