We have been waiting for poochy since 11/16 Best Buy was the only place that had it in stock for under $20. Thank you Best Buy my 4 year old and hubby were very happy.

I didn't get the 3DS version of the game and I wasn't planning on replaying my copy of the Wii U game. That being said WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT THIS PUP? Just look at that blank stare. Poochy wants to be loved.

Poochy is fun for the whole family--he goes for "visits" in my daughter's dollhouse, has a fun function in the 3DS game, and looks great in the display case. He's made of the same quality stitching as the yarn Yoshi amiibo originally released with the WiiU game, has an adorable pompom tail, and his "butt" contains the amiibo chip. Really looks like his Woolly World rendition.

Most amiibo are plastic, but the Yoshi's Wooly World amiibo are unique in that they are the only ones made out of a different material (to my knowledge). They are slightly bigger than other amiibo but they are adorable.

After getting the Wii U Yoshi's Woolly World with Yarn Yoshi, it only made sense to pick up his canine pal dating back to Yoshi's Island, Yarn Poochy. Well, they weren't yarn until this follow-up game to Kirby's Epic Yarn on the Wii, but they're even more adorable in yarn form. Yarn Poochy also comes as a pack-in with the recently released 3ds version of Yoshi's Woolly World. Scanning this yarn amiibo in will allow you to play alongside Poochy in any level without paying the in-game currency to do so. I just like to display him with Yarn Yoshi sitting on top of him, like in the games.

Nintendo has consistently gotten better and better with each new amigo they release. The Yarn Yoshi's are some of my favorite because of quality and sheer adorable-ness. Pooch looks perfectly sitting next to the Yarn Yoshi's. I even use the Poochy amigo as a note holder and put paper or a pen inside his mouth. It's fantastic!

This was the last yarn Yoshi amiibo I needed to complete the collection! He is adorable! Build quality is great, he's a tiny bit bigger than the small Yarn Yoshis. They can ride on top of him but I have the Mega Yoshi on top of him and I prefer that more. Just looking at him brightens my day!

Very cute amiibo! Poochy is even made of soft yarn like in the game Yoshi's Woolly World, and feels like a mini stuffed animal with all the perks of the ammibo's extra features to use with your WiiU! Kids love it!

This amiibo is a little bigger than the others - so make sure your display area has a little extra room. It's high quality and my kids love that I've collected all their favorite wooly world characters now.

This amiibo is cute and made of yarn! This goes so well with my yarn Yoshi amiibos. The quality is great and looks just like Poochy does in the Yoshi's Woolly World game.

Very cute. It seems a little larger than the yarn Yoshi amiibo, but not much. It can be used in Poochy and Yoshi's Wooly World game for 3DS. Just be careful, your dog or cat might like it as a toy!

This was a gift. We collect the amibos in general but this one in particular is really cute. Bigger than the yarn yoshis but I like it like that. It's compatible with the latest game for 3Ds.

The look and design of this amiibo is great! This is worth the purchase if you have either version of Yoshi's wooly world or if your fan of Nintendo collectibles in general.

Awesome little doggie amiibo that is compatible with the Wii U and 3ds yoshi game. Very cute, and soft. That puts a smile on your face when you look at it.

As a long time Yoshi's Island fan, I love Yoshi's Woolly World and this Poochy amiibo. It's very high quality and work very well in the game.

this is a great ambio and my son loved it and knows that he can cuddle with it and also use it to gain on the game. Great double duty toy!

Poochy amiibo is made out of yarn so it is instantly adorable. It is slightly larger than the yoshi yarn amiibo.

So, I'm not am Amibo collector. I got a few just for the features in WiiU games. But, I stumbled onto this guy last time I was as in a best buy. He's seriously adorable, seems to be made well. Admittedly, he isn't super useful game wise, since most the games I have don't use Poochy. But, he definitely keeps my yarn yoshi company, and considering how much I loved Yoshi's Island as a kid, I'm happy enough just to have something to remind me of that game.
