The world is really fun to explore, the story is great and the battle system is deep.

I have never really played JRPGs. I know this is one of the JRPGs that received great scores when it was released on the Wii. I have to say, I am really enjoying the game. Once you figure out the battle system, the game gets really addicting. I end up battling everything when on route to the next destination. I play with the 3D effect on but only the cut scenes, to me, are what stands out.

The original title was a hit on the Nintendo Wii, and it's quite expensive to get your hands on. This is a 3D version and it doesn't appear that will be getting to the original version scarcity. As far as I understand, there's the 3D capability, but appears that the graphics took a little bit of a hit due to hardware limitations. Non the least, it's an outstanding RPG game!

Xenoblade Chronicles was originally released on the Wii back in 2012, but because of supply issues sold out extremely quickly and became a difficult to find product. Having the opportunity to finally play it has been great. The game still offers the expansive landscapes and combat of the Wii version in handheld form. My only complaint is that the textures are often a bit lower quality than I'd like to see. It's a great first outing to show off the new processing power of the New 3DS, and I look forward to more epic handheld games like it on the console in the future.

Best RPG game on NN3DS. Storyline, graphics, and controls are perfect.

This is an awesome RPG and is a great visit for anyone whom may have missed out on the original Wii version. It's an epic game (40-60+ hours of play time) and retains everything from the original! One of the best RPG's made. They just don't make games like this any longer. Beware though, as it does require the New Nintendo 3DS system, however.

This game exceeded my expectations as an RPG on the 3ds. I know it's a port, but this is the first time that I actually enjoyed watching all the cutscenes and the voice acting. I usually skip over them, but this one had me engaged from the beginning. I thought I wouldn't like the battle system as much as I did initially too. Wonderful game.

Xenoblade Chronicles has always been a precious gem, not only due to its worth, but due to its rarity. This New 3DS version brings the masterpiece closer to all players who never got the chance to experience the first iteration. Quite an amazing story, nice characters, and lots of action packed exploration renews this game's hype one again!

I'll start off saying the graphics aren't super crisp, so if that bothers you in games be warned. That being said, this game is amazing. You will get countless hours out of this game, and the portability is great. My only disappointment is the Streetpass functionality but that's primarily due to no one seeming to play the game in my region.

This is a series I had heard of for years, so I knew the series had a great reputation before I purchased this game. However, after looking at the reviews I knew this game would be ideal for me, as it has a great story line, a great adventure, and the game looks beautiful. I sincerely enjoy playing the game for a number of reasons, such as the constant upgrade system and numerous quests to play. I think the game was slightly more challenging than I expected, as this is an open area so you can easily go to levels higher than you are at the time. That being said I enjoyed the challenge and I can't wait to play more of the game. I will note that this is for the new 3ds only. So make sure you have the new system before purchasing it.

If you are a fan of the RPG genre just buy this. Its as good as it gets. While the graphics were slightly better on the Wii, the terrible Wii controllers make this one superior. Get this, play this, and then buy Xenoblade Chonicles X when it is out for Wii U.

I missed this game when it came out not to long ago on the Wii. I like the fact that Nintendo has rereleased it, since the original version was expensive. I have not finished the game yet, but I like what I have played so far. The game looks great on the 3DS. If you are into RPGs I would recommend picking this one up.

I bought this game to have a chance to play Xenoblade for 3ds on the go, even though this game it's only playeable on the new Nintendo 3ds and I bought one recently couldn't miss the chance to have this game for my library one of the best JRPG of the last gen so if you love rpg games this is one of the best ones aroun.

So far this game does not have me hooked from the start as I would have expected it to. I feel I need to hold off further play until I have more time to dedicate solely to playing this, in order to really get a better feel for it. Otherwise the graphics and movement are great and the battle mechanics are interesting. One of the few games with amiibo support even though the one figure that works with the game is elusive without forking over as much as the game itself costs.

Great portable port a great game! Must own for new 3ds owners and rpg lovers who missed out on the wii version.
