Not a gamer but I have a spare PS4 here for when my grandson comes to visit in the summer. I got it on a lark. The last time I got a game was Doom for my 486 100 back in the 90s. Times have changed games have changed, I enjoy the challenge it reminds me of the game MYST. Still trying to figure it out.

I'm not sure why people were upset about this game on release. It wad exactly as Hello Games described it. You explore and discover everything you want to. Not a fast paced game, but the new updates include building options on planets and freighters.

No Man's Sky is a cool exploration game. The game is repetitive, but space exploration would be. Fans of Sci Fi space flicks should give it a try. Call of Duty/Zombie Slashers should think twice.

This game could have been great. It had a lot of great moments sandwiched between boring stretches. The grinding gets old real quick and it kind of lacked direction which may have been the point.

I really enjoy No Man's Sky. I know some folks had different expectations but it's really a marvel how much you can do in this game and the seemless transition from ground to space. Yes it can get a little repetitive but it's been very enjoyable to me.

This game is awesome, visually it is the best I have seen so far from this generation of consoles. But it is very slow going and not much action I think we have gotten to used to online group play. I played for 17 hours and never ran into anyone else.

I really like the exploration factor of this game because I was always motivated by the history of the alien cultures. I wish the resource gathering wasn't so repetitive. I really hope they develop a PS VR patch for this game but it is very unlikely.

The game gets repetitive after a little while, but it was a fun experience when it started. I really enjoyed the idea behind the game, but it just left me hanging wanting more from the game.

Despite what a lot of people said about this game, it's an enjoyable game. If space exploration / simulation is something you want -- and not worry about anything else -- then this game can fill in that niche. Especially at the price of $40.

I got caught up in the hype and was able to snag what felt like the last copy in town. I played it for a very short period of time, but it's not that great. I doubt I will ever play it again.

I love exploring all the planets... reminds me a lot of minecraft but in the sky. Can get a little repetitive after awhile but still a nice game to play when you want to explore the unknown.

Interesting game, updated similar to the original Elite way back on the PC but with updated graphics. This game is not for everyone tho, if your not a fan of massive open gameplay then don't buy this game. If you are then you will probably enjoy it.

This is an okay game. It's fun for the first few days, and after it is repetitive. You were supposed to have unlimited lands or similar, but this is not the case without laying down more cash.

I bought this in anticipation of the big update. Not too far in yet, but they offered me 25 reward points to review it. I like the crafting elements and exploration. It's been fun discovering new planets and other players.

Half the features they advertised were in this are completely missing! There might be a million worlds to visit, but theres nothing unique to do on them, and after a few hours, you've pretty much seen everything the game has to offer. If this was a budget title, it would be forgivable, but when its the same price as outstanding games like Witcher 3, it comes up wanting. There have already been over 10,00 refunds on steam. Avoid this stinker until they add all the content they claimed was going to be in it, or wait for a properly done sequel.

Lot of play time in this game. Seems to be a little repetitive as you go further in the game. Still, there is plenty to do with lots of creative things to do as far as naming the local plant and animal life as well as the worlds you come across.

Although the lack of real multiplayer seems weird at first, it makes the survival and exploration more meaningful in a way. Not exactly what I expected but a unique and entertaining experience.

Not a bad return on investment compared to going to a movie, but this is not a new GTA, Destiny, Starcraft, or anything of the sort. You might really love this game, but not for very long

The game was so over-hyped that it left me a little disappointed. Searching stuff on planets was cool, but there's got to be more than this. I hope there is an update to fix some issues.

Starts off amazing but gets boring fast. After the initial magic of exploring new planets wears off, it loses its appeal fast. Worth a look but you may want to wait for it to go cheaper.
