quality case, well fitting and looks great. more or less by design, this case ages quite quickly and although i like the looks still it's not really my preference for a case that's only months old

Very nice leather. Very easy to grip and is slim. Protection seems to be really good so far. No damage anywhere on the phone. Size of the case is enough to protect the screen from scratches.

It's a nice less expensive leather case version than apples. I have already dropped the phone and the case has handled the scratching pretty well. I've owned for about a month now and the leather has weathered in very nice. I'd buy again.

This is a nice leather case that ages well with use. It is well fit for the phone, and gives it a great look. The only issue I've found is that it's a little tight around the vibrate/ring switch making it hard to switch back and forth.

This is a good case for my iphone. Like all Nomad products, the leather is great. the only issue i have had is the mute button on the side is hard to turn off when the case is on because the leather is too close to the button.

This is a nice leather case and especially on clearance price ($19.99) it is a great value! Soft lining inside is great to not allow dust to scratch the back of the phone. Also leather feels of great quality.

This a simple and elegant case. It protects my phone and is classically stylish. Looking forward to the leather getting weathered--it's on it's way.

This case is straight forward, it provides adequate protection with style! Blue leather that will patina beautifully as it ages. Great for my iPhone 7, didn't want to cover it w/ a bulky case

Nice quality old style leather. I've had it about 3 weeks and it is wearing in nicely. It was a perfect fit and is a minimalist type of cover.

I really like this case. It is made to beat up and look nicely. I ended up treating the leather because if a drop of liquid hit the leather it really discolored it. It seems to be wearing down nice. I did drop the case and found the leather is really this and it tore. With a little glue I fixed it but it doesn't have the druability you think you are getting with the leather. This leather is paper thin and mainly about looks. If you need a case that will be durable and last a long time for you this one may not be the one for you. If you want a case the beats up and still looks nice though light use this may be the case for you..

Got this as a backup case for my iPhone 7 Plus and I was shocked at how it began to separate from itself. Never dropped it but it fell apart and began to peel off. Better sticking other better options.

I got the blue (almost black leather). It is strong ang looks good. Perfect fit. The blue color is just enough difference than all the million black covers out there!

I loved this case at first, best case I've ever bought. Was very happy with how it was wearing and the slight patina it was developing....but.....about 3 weeks of use and this morning I take it out of my pocket and see a large, dime sized hole is in the back. I never dropped it and it's never been in my pocket with anything else, zero reason at all for the rip. The only thing I can think of is that it may have gotten hung up on a zipper once when I put it in my coat pocket? Even if I carried it every day with keys and what not it still shouldn't rip like it did, very disappointed. I'm waiting to hear back from Nomad customer service so I may amend this review later. I'll reserve judgement until I hear back from Nomad customer service, but I'm pretty discouraged by what happened today. Just sitting in my pocket, no keys or drop or anything. No idea what happened but there's a nice, big hole where the leather ripped and it's only a few weeks old. I really loved this case up until today, and I know leather will wear but it should rip like this. I could understand if I had it in the bottom of a bag or in a pocket full of keys...but it wasn't anything like that so why did it rip? I emailed Nomad this morning so I'll let y'all know what their response is, I asked for a replacement or a full refund. I love this case, better that the leather apple case as this one protects all the sides

The Nomad case does indeed have real leather. That means it has the same shortcomings as real leather goods do - it can be scuffed and scratched even with fingernails. On the other hand, a good rub with your bare (clean) hands can fade a lot of the damage. It's sorta self-healing in this regard. Mine has withstood a few drops and after a few days the marks are gone. At the same time, I somehow managed to put a really deep scratch on it with my fingernail and that's not going away.

I really like the feel of this case and with some time I think it will just look better. I like the worn leather look.

Protects my phone pretty good dropped several times and my phone is well protected

The first one we bought didn't fit the phone do to a defect on the case, so had to exchange it. The second fits.
