I'm a gamer. An enthusiast gamer. And I've bought many video cards over the years. I upgraded from a GTX 970 (which isn't too shabby of a card) to this GTX 1080 and it's a world of difference. If you have the cash, BUY THIS CARD!

Great GPU. Full price is a little steep, but can normally find a deal if you wait long enough. I think this is the sweet spot for power and looks at this price point. If you have money to blow, go for the Ti version.

Has been working great in my Ryzen system. It was the only reasonably priced GTX 1080 card at purchase time and a good performance upgrade from my Radeon 480. Like the cooling too: heat exhausted out of case.

This has worked great for my needs. Actually I rarely even begin to push the envelope with it as im not a gamer. But it does render very nicely and so much quicker than my old graphics card.

the performance is top notch. I'm using dual card sli on a 4K monitor and game play is amazing. if someone comes up behind you in the game you see the shadows as realistically as possible. it really enhances game play.

No complaints. Everything is good in the neighborhood.

My son needed a video card, so I gave him my 1070, and upgraded mine to this 1080. Yeah it's not a huge jump in performance to what I had, but it runs all my games in ultra settings and still gets over 100 fps.

This card isn't the top tier of what NVIDIA offers it's a great card to purchase at Bestbuy. Currently GTX 1070s across the net are going for the same price. Why not get a better card for the same price.

Wanted a 1080ti but this popped up in stock so I ran w it. Not spending $1300 on newegg for a ti. This works better than I expected on 4k max settings gaming and I'd buy another in a heart beat.

I upgraded from the nvidia 1060 to this card, and the difference is astounding. This gpu has no problem displaying every game in my library at max settings and native 4K every time. I've become spoiled.

I have been building a PC for a couple of months and finally settled on this GPU. I had to order it and have it sent to my house, which was perfectly fine as they sent it in a very discrete box (I live in a rough-ish neighborhood). The prices for GPUs right now are crazy, but I don't even mind paying the price I did for the quality of this thing. The Nvidia packaging was super tight and incredibly well packaged. I have been playing a lot of Destiny 2, Bioshock Infinite, and a couple of other games, all on max settings and they look flawless.

Good intersection for both, but you need two in order to play new games like Metro: Exodus or Battlefield V at full resolution (1920x1080 or above) without the occasional crash

I bought this with an eGPU chassis for my laptop in order to do VR and this card is amazing: powerful and quick. Best Buy has one of the better prices for this monster, so that's an added bonus.

A huge step up from last year's offerings, the Nvidia 1080 easily outclasses most cards short of a Titan X or XP. It's taking my gaming to new hights, and I laugh at my friends who have consoles

This has pushed my gaming from 1080p with medium to high graphics settings depending on the game, to 4k and ultra settings on everything. My GPU is only a AMD FX - 8320 as well. Very happy

this is a great card, i really wanted a gtx 1070, but it wasn't available so for like $80.00 more i got the gtx 1080. i am happy with my decision and love the graphics this baby puts out.

Overall this is a great card, and as fast as they claim. Be careful though, the default temperature monitoring is not very good because it prioritizes fan volume over all else. I was finding the card exceeding 85c asnd it was actually throttling the card speed down. I used MSI Afterburner to be a little more aggressive with fan speed now, and the temperatures are staying around 70c.

This card, when paired with a 4790k can pull out many frames in any newer title, it is well worth the MSRP price, but above, I would try to stay away until the prices drop

Fantastic video card and got it for a good price. Though if you plan on buying it you might want to make sure the tower is big enough, not recommended for smaller towers xD

I've been debating this one for a while, but I'm so glad I finally took the time to invest into it. Just make sure it fits in your PC case. It barely cleared mine thankfully. It plays anything I toss at it and I'm playing on a 2560x1080 ultrawide 29" screen. Also make sure you get a good power supply for it. The minimum is 500w, but don't settle for that. At least get a 750+. I went with the 850 so that I'd have plenty of room for anything else I needed. I mean you're already spending $500+ on the card. Invest into a power supply that's going to take care of it! I think a lot of folks are going with a 600 and that should do. Whatever works for you.
