This thing is a monster they can handle anything I throw at it playing destiny on three monitors and still running at 50 frames above 4K

Purchased for use with a 2K monitor. While the GTX 970 I had performed well at 1080p, it just didn't drive some games when I switched to a 2K monitor. With the release of the TI, the price drop was the incentive I needed. The GTX 1080 performs great with the 2K monitor. While it is no longer the fastest card available, I am very please with the performance.

This card installed easy and made a huge difference in my gaming.

I purchased this graphics card so that I would no longer have any troubles running any of the new releases and games. I have been blown away by the fact that I can run every game I can think of at the maximum settings. I would recommend MSI Afterburner or a similar program so that you can manually control the fan settings of the card so that it doesn't overheat!

Purchased this to replace another great card, the NVidia GTX 980Ti. This card is the absolute best you can buy in the consumer market today! It uses less electricity than it's predecessor while delivering superior frame rates in practically everything you throw at it. Currently using it with my Dell 3440x1440 widescreen monitor, and the graphics are amazing!

running at 4k resolutons in most games getting high frame rates in most games the only game that I have a problem with is flaming cliffs 3.fps veries from 45 to 200 older games even higher haven't tried virtual reality waiting for mixed reality glasses to be released but I'm sure they will work well with this card. buy it you wont be disappointed.

This is a great card for casual gamer. You'll achieve great fps and loud fan noise. I did notice it does run a little warmer, but that could be my rig. Highly recommend!

I needed to upgrade my video card to drive a new Asus PG279Q 2K monitor. I installed the new card and when the computer rebooted, everything looked good. I didn't have to do any tweaking. So far I've had no problems with the card, and the new monitor looks great and the video works smoothly. I'm running a self-build with I7-6700, MSI Z170A Gaming M7 MB.

Using this card for crypto mining and getting 21mh/s out of box. Overclocking does not get much better. Overall it is a good card but runs a little warmer than other video cards.

Almost went with the 1070 but after reading several benchmark comparisons between the two I decided to future proof myself a bit more. I use it to play WOW, Vive VR games, Doom, Witcher 3, etc.. Have tested everything on Ultra & 1440p & these games don't even blink.

Bought TWO of these things, replacing two GTX 770's frame rate from apx 60 on ultra setting Far Cry Primal to well over 120 on SLI. Plus system is ready for VR. Also picked up the Samsung 32" monitor over 3 monitor system I was thinking about setting up--need a bigger house. Not ready to hand out another $900.00 each for HTC VR systems yet.

Great card! While it can do 4k 60 fps for some games its not quite perfect yet but i feel its the perfect 2k high fps card. i paid 550 for this and i felt that was a far more reasonable price then its starter price was. a 1080ti would be nice but too rich for my blood. If you can afford this over the 1070 then gof for it

I really enjoy this card a lot and have not had any issues with it. I would recommend having a monitor with 144hz and with gsnyc brings out the best of this card. Buying this I don't see myself needing to upgrade for awhile. Can't say that I am a fan of VR but I have the setup and it works nicely with it.

It doesn’t get much better than these cards (at least for mining). The blower style case is great for airflow!

Going from a 970 to a 1080 was a huge jump but definitely worth it best buy was the only store anywhere to have the card so yeah pretty solid lol

I am enjoying this card, I am not a hard core gamer, but needed a new strong card. I use it with a 4k monitor and am really pleased with the results. My games are great and video and photo editing are doing so much better it is great. Hopefully this one will last 4 years or more like my last one did. I would recommend

The GTX 1080 was a massive improvement over my Radeon 280X. In a personal Unreal Engine 4 project, the fps went from 32 to over 160 with the same scene. The GPU is so fast it is hard to find anything that can slow it down. 100 million tris, no problem. Definitely worth the money.
