Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6X Graphics Card's impressive performance, especially for high-resolution gaming, and its effective cooling system. Many appreciate the high frame rates and excellent ray tracing capabilities, although some users mention the card's substantial size and weight. The price point is frequently cited as a significant drawback. While build quality is generally praised, some users experienced coil whine.

Get a 4090 instead or ger last gen. I don't think it was worth an it. Overall it's a good product but it's the same size as the 4090 and much less powerful. I think that if you're looking at this card you should just go all the way to the 4090 or get an rx 6900 xt or 3090/3080

I had this card but returned for a 4090 how ever i have another 4080 founders with exact mobo setup Icore 9 13900k answer coming from 50 games the 4090 averages at 4k 165hz at around 20 to 30 on most aaa games at 4k 1080 is insane so you can get away with the 4080 oc it to around 3000ghz and oc memory about 1000 has very good cooling. Congrats on nvidia card should be 799.99$ 4090 should be 1099.99$ based on fps and dedicated video memory.

This was an upgrade from a GTX 970, and it's awesome. It still plays every game on ultra settings at 2K and well over 60 FPS. I'll stick with this card for a while.

2nd best card on the market, slaughters everything thrown at it. Runs cool, doesn’t draw a lot of power. If you have a 10 series or 20 series card looking for a nice jump in performance this card is great

Card runs really smoothly on 1440p most games running at 300+ fps. Really great temperatures as well, that massive heatsink does its part.

As an avid gamer I was looking for one of the highest quality gaming GPU on the market. I had just finished build my new pc and needed the upgrade. For the past month of using this gpu I have enjoyed all of my games at the highest of setting and could not be any happier with my purchase. If you are looking to play games in 2k and 4k this is definitely a graphics card to upgrade to.

The card runs quiet and cool thanks to sharing the 4090’s cooler, it doesnt break a sweat at 3440x1440@175hz with HDR enabled. Its only really worth upgrading to if you can sell off your old card for a decent “discount”.

Never pay full price. It’s not worth $1199 let alone the higher MSRP that specialty cards charge. this reference card runs quiet and easily runs games at 4k/120fps or higher. Buyer beware: some motherboards will fail to recognize the card, and you have to run a firmware update from NVIDIA to get it working. If you don’t have another means of video output (eg. Ryzen users), that can be problematic.

I've got mixed feelings about the 4080 FE, but overall I think it's a good card. - The gaming performance gap vs the 4090 is large under GPU bottleneck situations, even with an overclock a 4080 is still outpaced. I think the price of the 4080 should be a bit further apart (lower) than the 4090. - The card draws less power than I was expecting it to, and is able to almost hit peak clocks when power limited to 75-80% of it's max TBP. - It's a big card, but I believe it's the smallest 4080 model you can get your hands on right now. The cooler is oversized for the card, stressing it out results in it running at about 60C. Because the cooler is oversized, fan noise is quite IMO. - The cooler for the card is well built, and rigid. There is no need for anti-sag brackets/tethers.
