Customers are saying
Customers highly value the GeForce RTX 4090's exceptional performance and impressive cooling capabilities, frequently citing high frame rates and quiet operation. However, the high price point and large size are common criticisms. While some users report minor coil whine, many praise the card's design and ability to run games at high resolutions. Concerns exist regarding the power connector's reliability and the card's significant weight.

Absolute monster!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This GPU is an absolute beast when it come to performance. For instance playing Call of Duty on my 43” ultra wide on max settings and 5120x1440p I’m getting roughly 220-250 fps and on my 27” monitor I’m getting well over 350 fps on max settings. It’s a complete game changer!!!

4K GAMING!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from an EVGA 3090 FTW3, 4K gaming on the new 4090 is amazing. If you prefer to game at 4K with high settings then this is the card that delivers. It provides a superb generational performance from its predecessor. If you prefer DLSS, you’ll get the new DLSS3 with frame generation (with some issues to it). Compared to 4080…you are honestly better off getting this card for the price, some AIB 4080 get close to the MSRP of a 4090. I’m using the Corsair 600w pcie5.0 psu cable, which helps with cable clutter. But please make sure to plug the 12 pin to the gpu securely to avoid any melting cables. Overall this card delivers the power you’ll need to game at 4K60. If ya need a smaller card, the FE edition is the one to get compared to the AIB versions. If trying to obtain the card, just keep at it and hopefully you can secure one from Best Buy regional drops, I finally secured one before the holidays.

Powerful Monsterust Card with an Achilles heel.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a powerful Card with a few weaknesses and one of them is the 12VHPWR adapter cable. It melted the second day of use with my new PC I build. If you can get past the 12VHPWR adapter possibly melting and the heavy price then it a good buy.

The best
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a 4080 FE but was able to get a 4090 and it was worth it. While the 4080 is a great card the 4090 is almost a generational leap ahead of it. Running DSR at 1.75x and never dropping below my refresh rate. My only complaint is that the 4090 FE has a slight coil whine whereas my 4080 was silent.

Good, but not excellent.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good. The best you can get in 2023! But! It's still not good enough to run any game on max settings in 4k. If sli/nvlink would've been still alive these days, maybe it would be possible to run Cyberpunk and some other games on max with native RT and all bells and whistles @60fps in 4k. But for now, most of that eye charming technological breakthrough should still be either disabled or faked with DLSS and FG to get acceptable FPS until at least 2 more generations. Like 6090 or 7090 we will be able to fully enjoy true max settings in 4k at least @60fps.
