||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As long as you don't need access to your music or video library in iTunes (you would need an Apple TV for that), the NVIDIA SHIELD is a very good way to stream video or music on a TV. Not only are Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, CBS All Access, and more available, but it also comes with PLEX so you could record live TV if you have a compatible tuner and antenna (or CableCard device)

Great for my media

I use this device for my apk's and kodi works really good and you don't have to worry about getting those anoying low on memory like other devices then to turns off until you delete some things. Also I have tons of movies so it's great just to have that there to watch with out any buffering.

Great box

Just don’t upgrade it’s firmware to Oreo 8.0 Stick with the nugget android os. I did a big mistake by updating my shield to Oreo and lost a lot of futures.

Best Media Streamer To Date

Its Playstation Vue app far surpases Roku's and its built-in Chromecast and future Google Assistant capability is the icing on the cake.

The features it offers are great and when spot comes out it will work well with my smart things hub.

Get it while it lasts

The Shield has been and continues to be the only real choice for the Android TV platform.
