Great smart glasses but limited in real-life use

I really enjoyed the Oakley Meta glasses overall. The brown smoke frame with the blue Prizm lenses looked great and the glasses felt high-quality. The camera and audio features were surprisingly fun and I found myself using them a lot outdoors. The only reason I returned them was the limited use case. Since the lenses were non-prescription and heavily tinted, I could really only wear them in bright sunlight. For the price, I wanted something I could use throughout the day.
I’ll likely be purchasing them again, but with transition lenses and my prescription. That way I can get the same style and features, but with way more versatility. If you already wear sunglasses daily, they’re great. If you need something you can use in more situations, consider going the prescription/transition route.

Stylish, sporty, and packed with tech. The Oakley Meta HSTN steps up from previous smart glasses with 3K video capture, strong stabilization, and longer battery life and it comfortably handles action shots and everyday use

Love the look and the battery life. It would be nice if there was a setting to possibly extend recording time of video. Sometimes 1 minute is not quite enough and it does take a few second to restart video. I also wish that they offered different size options like the Ray Ban versions. These are a little tight on the side of my head. At the end of the day, I do love them, but subtracting one star for the tight fit and limited time to video recording.

The battery and video improvement over the Ray Bans is phenomenal

These are excellent for our travels - get to see and know exactly what I'm looking at or listen to music as roaming the streets with the family. Excellent product and service

The Oakley Meta sunglasses exceeded my expectations. Their sleek design blends futuristic style with everyday comfort, making them perfect for both active and casual wear.
The lenses offer crystal-clear vision with outstanding glare reduction, and the lightweight frame feels durable yet barely noticeable. Whether I’m driving, or just out in the sun, the Meta delivers premium performance and undeniable style. Oakley nailed it with this one.

I’ve been an Oakley fan for some time. Wasn’t sure about this style but I tried it on in the store and ended up liking the look. I love the fact you can swap the lens out and the built in speakers are great. Unlike earbuds, you can still maintain your awareness while listening to music and such through the glasses. Finally, the AI is very new to me. I’m getting used to it. So far no complaints. Being able to choose from the list of voices they provide is a really cool feature.

I thought these were a gimmick from the ads, but have been thoroughly impressed with the calling, music, AI assitant (It feels like JARVIS), and video quality to capture moments!

Even though i’ve never had an issue with sunglasses or glasses being too small. These just hurt a lot behind the ears. There is no option for larger frame and they just got extremely uncomfortable after 15 minutes if wearing. For reference i wear a size small fitted hat. The design is ok, but also kind of sucks too. Better of with second gen rayban until they come out with more options for oakley.

Stylish smart sunglasses combining Oakley’s premium optics with Meta’s AI features. The Prizm Deep Water lenses cut glare and enhance color brilliantly, especially near water. Comfort and fit are solid, and the camera and open-ear speakers work well for casual use.
However, video quality is average, battery life runs closer to 6–7 hours, and there’s no prescription-lens option. Overall, excellent for outdoor and tech-savvy users seeking high-end smart shades with standout clarity and style.
