These controllers make the vr experience complete. I used the vive controllers as well and they feel a little bulky but the touch controllers feel much more natural. I would recommend adding this to the rift.

My original foray into VR was with my Oculus Rift without the Touch controllers. Games like Thumper, Eve Valkyrie, and Obduction worked fine with an Xbox controller, and I was certainly immersed in those worlds, but I had no idea at the time how much was missing from the VR experience. The moment I fired up the Touch and played through the included tutorial, I was hooked. I then downloaded the free RoboRecall pack-in and was flailing around my room, grabbing bullets out the air, pulling shotguns from behind my shoulder, and grabbing and throwing robots across the map. This is only possible with the Touch controllers. I cannot recommend them enough to accelerate your VR experience into the next level.

Can't beat the new price. The entire controller is touch sensitive allowing for more control and options while in-game. Just watch some YouTube reviews to see what I'm talking about. Pretty amazing stuff. Each controller is designed specifically for each hand. They are used primarily for games that require your hands to hold things (guns, items, etc.) They don't function like a regular Xbox controller like you think they should considering they have joysticks. Hopefully that will change in the future. If you own a Rift or are considering one, don't leave these out. Room scale games are fantastic with them and they provide an additional level of immersion that's well worth the purchase.

With the Touch, Oculus finally gets nearly to product parity with the Vive and it's now easy to recommend one based on comfort, rather than ability. The Touches themselves feel great, the open hand design makes your hands feel more natural in VR, rather than holding the Vive wands. Gripping in particular feels more natural, as you're pushing a bumper with your middle finger, rather than trying to find small buttons on the side of the wand. Highly recommended, but not worth switching for. Vive and Oculus are both fantastic products, now that oculus has proper motion controllers, strap both headsets on if you can and see which one is more comfortable for you.

VR is a completely different experience with touch controllers. Don't get me wrong, it will blow you away regardless, and a lot of the games control just fine with a regular controller. But with the touch controllers, you ARE the character you're playing as. It takes the experience from immersive to personal. Instead of just being in the middle of everything and being able to look around, you become the character you're playing as. It's an experience no review can do justice. I've been sharing my VR system with all my friends, and they all agree as well. You don't get it until you've done it for yourself, and once you have there's no going back.

No two ways about it, if youre getting the rift you must get these to make the experience worth it. Great battery life, excellent ergonomics, but they take a while to get used to.

If you own an oculus and are on the fence about buying touch. Do it now. The controllers are great and what it adds to the experience can not be overstated

i sold my PSVR for the rift and wow.. i thought PSVR was great but once i put this thing on and got the controllers my mind was blown all over again.

If you have an Oculus Rift, you should get this. The controllers make the VR experience much more immersive. The controllers are easy to use and very comfortable.

I recently picked up the Touch controllers as part of the $400 promotion. I am so glad I did. They are very high quality, you can feel that the first time you touch them. They are also very comfortable, they fit my hands quite nicely. In game, they are so helpful for immersion, much better than then Xbox One controller. Shooters are particularly fun, since you now can see your hands in front of you, moving in the headset just as they are moving in real life. In summary, if you are getting a Rift, you have to get the Touch controllers, they add that much to the immersion.

It's an awesome accessory and the tracking is great! It helps make the games more immersive. I wouldn't buy the Oculus Rift without the Touch controllers.

Awesome controllers that really add to the VR experience. I'd recommend a second camera for better tracking, though it's not required.

This came with the bundle I bought and I can't live without it. These are very accurate and feel very natural. Robo recall is super fun with these.

VR by itself is fun, but the Touch controllers are what make it immersive. They track really well and are intuitively set up to read your fingers.

This is the final piece from Oculus needed to achieve parity with the HTC Vive. The controllers are high quality in terms of design, build quality and most important functionality. They work seamlessly with the Rift, with a really well-done integration (although a 3rd sensor is needed for full room tracking). The Touch controllers really bring a new level of interaction for VR experiences, as shown by games such as Super Hot and The Climb among many others. If you have a Rift, these seem more like a needed companion rather than an optional purchase.

Add this to the Oculus HMD and you've got a very impressive VR experience. I would recommend adding a third sensor to allow room scale play!

These are needed for the Oculus, my bundle came with them. I find them to be comfortable, responsive, and set up well. I like the design.

These are the best vr controllers I have used more than the vibe or samsung gear controller. There are better made and feel safee and sturdy in your hand. You must buy them if you own the oculus headset. Really recommend them.
