This was a great purchase. Easy to set up and get started. I have many pieces to my home theatre and this accommodated all of them. The remote codes didn't work on a couple of my devices, but that is not that big of a deal.

I picked this receiver because of the wifi. Works great for streaming music from an iPhone. Sirus is great and you don't have to have an external box or antenna. Remote app works great as well. You can change songs from your playlist or change Sirius channels from your iPhone. You can listen to one source on the main speakers and a completely different source on a second pair; movie inside while listening to music on the patio.

The amp works very well and is relatively easy to use. It took me a bit of time to figure out the HDMI and input out combinations to make all the cable box and PS4 work with the sound. Also the output watt is slightly lower than my previous model so we have to crank the volume up a bit more in order to hear it. Other than than im satisfied.

This is probably the fourth or fifth receiver I have owned in my life, and it is heads and shoulders above the rest. It is easy to operate and the sound is superb. I love all of its features, and it is easy to use, too. A powerhouse.

Love all the connections and easy hookups. The internet, Bluetooth and ability to hook up all my older products (CD, Video, Games, TV, and Record Player) through the system.

I replaced a Pioneer receiver with this Onkyo. Onkyo has always been recommended to me but I never bit before. Wow! Now I know why. Outstanding sound, easy to set up, easy remote.

I have had two other Onkyo receivers that have been in use for the last 15 years. This receiver allowed me to run all the HDMI through the receiver and offers up conversion. I was also looking for a unit that had multiple optical inputs for the DVD, TV. Using the coax for sound from the cable box. The biggest plus is that I can now stream digital content and use my music library through the computer port. This is a great solution to the higher end receiver that I was looking at from Onkyo.

Bought this because my old one finally gave up the ghost. There is a lot of new technology and is taking a little time to learn but overall it is very nice and I am happy with the product...

The unit was easy to connect and program. I was very impressed with the sounds we heard when we turned it on. We are very pleased with this receiver.

Onkyo is highly recommended for true sound and the new technology is over the TOP !!!

Onkyo has been a favorite in my family for years. The sound was an incredible improvement. There are plenty of playback modes and the setup is fairly simple. I would recommend spending some time to learn about the features of this unit in your manual. I originally used the auto setup to set the levels of the speakers, but I achieved a much better mix by using a decibel meter and an online guide to set up the levels. This is a great product, and the price was nice as well.

Really great sound lots of options. I love the fact that his this has Wi-Fi and was able to update seamlessly. The sound quality is excellent I had to manually adjust some of the speakers from what the microphone had set up but after that the sound was awesome.

Switching from a pioneer receiver I had for 15 years. Loved all the hdmi ports and WiFi capability. Already Pandora ready to stream. 7.2 surround sound, just as good, if not better, than movie theater systems. Onkyo has been so revered in home audio that stepping out of my comfort zone of pioneer and Sony loyalty was painless and rewarding. Great receiver!

I bought this receiver for two reasons: 1) I have always owned Onkyo receivers 2) I needed HDMI switching to remove an existing switch box. This thing is fantastic. I am thrilled that it has Dolby Atmos baked in, future-proofing me as that catches on. I also like the HDMI switching piece: it's a pass-through so I should be all set for 4K content once I upgrade my TV. I also am thrilled that it has built-in AirPlay for my Apple devices. Onkyo has always produced excellent components in my experience and this receiver continues that trend. If there is any downside I can mention, it is unique to my AT&T U-verse receiver. For whatever reason, the picture displays fine but I get a "No Input" black box at the top left of the screen. The simple fix is to switch to a different input and come back to TV and the box goes away. This issue is well documented and the solution (which I haven't run yet) is to reset the receiver and complete the setup process again. However, this one glitch is not a good enough reason for me not to like it. Hopefully, the glitch will be fixed in a software update...that can be downloaded over Wi-Fi, yet another cool bonus feature. In short, buy this receiver.

i purchased a new 4k TV, but learned my existing receiver, also an Onkyo, would not pass the 4k signal as well as the newer Onkyo models. So I upgraded...good thing, too. The newer Onkyo handles wifi and Bluetooth very well...so Onkyo once again, with even better qualities!

This receiver replaces a Denon that was an excellent unit ... but not a 4k unit. Set up is pretty straight forward. Once all wires and components are hooked up, press the "setup" button. Press the function you want to do and follow the prompts. The sound from this unit is fantastic. You can plug in the sound setup mic for automatic sound setup., or adjust the sound yourself. The bass management really pushed the sub to new limits. There's enough analog inputs for everything bit a turn table. With six HDMI inputs, a USB and optic outputs ... you're covered. You can not go wrong with this unit.

We like the sound quality, and it was easy set up.

I bought this receiver because I needed 4k pass through and my old receiver did not have this feature. I was sold on this one because of dolby atmos and that onkyo is a good receiver. I am impressed with the sound I get, better than my old sony. You will not be disappointed with the purchase of this one.

Easy to set up and use. Great sound and connections enough for devices. I was really happy with the auto sound set up. It also had a setup feature to properly establish your devices.
