    Typical Sweet and Lynch Styles

You can take the hair rock guys out of the 80s, but you can't take their 80s styles out of the hair rock guys -- even when they have much shorter hair. If you are a Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) fan as well as a fan of the singing style of Michael Sweet (Stryper), then this disc may be for you. Honestly, I can't believe my local Best Buy even had this disc on display. Anyway, most tunes seem more Lynch Mob or Dokken-ish than Stryper; however, there are a few Stryper-ish tunes which leads me to believe Michael came to the table with a few of his own guitar riffs. I am happy to say that Sweet doesn't over sing on the disc, which is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to singers with range that don't know when to control themselves (a la Aguilera). Production and mixing are done well. If you are a fan of these gents, then you'll probably enjoy this disc as I do!

Lately Michael Sweet has so much on his plate. First & foremost the incredible comeback of STRYPER & their killer comeback cd "NO MORE HELL TO PAY" . Then an incredible solo cd called ""I`m NOT YOUR SUICIDE". Then a STRYPER LIVE CD. When does he relax...never? This cd reminds you why musicians want to work with him. An incredible voice teamed with an incredible guitar player. No longer is Micheal "that guy in that christian band". STRYPER may be more popular & recognized than ever. Listen to standout tracks like "Dying Rose" and "September"..excellent cd!!

I was always a fan of the bands that both George Lynch and Micheal Sweet came from, Dokken and Stryper respectively. When I saw that they were doing an album together, I was naturally curious. When I bought the album, I was surprised how good it was. There isn't a bad track on this album. Whether you are a fan of 80's hair bands, or the current rock bands, this album is highly recommended.

Great rock CD project from George Lynch of Dokken/Lynch Mob fame and Michael Sweet of Stryper, who at one point was tagged to take over as Boston's lead singer. No filler and light on ballads, this album is a throwback to the heyday of melodic hard rock without sounding dated. Anyone interested also should look into the new self-titled release by super-group Revolution Saints.

There is a lot of anticipation when established, successful musicians get together to jam and record new music. This project between Michael Sweet, the voice of Christian Metal Legends, STRYPER and Mr. Scary, himself, George Lynch, of DOKKEN fame, is as expected: Great songs, soaring vocals, shredding guitar. Coupled with awesome production, this is a must for all fans of the LA Metal Scene, both past and present. Killer album!!

I've always been a huge George Lynch fan, so I decided to pick this one up and I have to say I'm very glad I did. Great album from the first track to the last. If you are a fan of straight ahead 80's rock, George Lynch or Michael Sweet you need to pick this one up ASAP!

Best George Lynch effort since Wicked Sensation! Michael Sweet's voice makes the album though. Old school rock/metal feel, but with new sound. Great mix of anthems, ballads, and epics! Solid album! Must have for any loyal Dokken & Stryper follower, or new metal fan!

When I found out that these two musicians were getting together,I was excited.Michael with his great vocals plus George Lynch on guitar are one power combo.Songs on this disc have a tinge of the 80s plus lyrics on current world issues.Possibly being a contender for album of the year. Can't wait for them to tour! Rock on!

I have been a huge fan of both Michael Sweet & George Lynch for years. It is so neat hear elements of Stryper, Michael Sweet solo work, Dokken, & Lynch Mob all on one disc. This is an amazing album!! I hope that they make more music in the future.

Awesome vocals from Stryper frontman Michael Sweet and great guitar work from George Lynch. A must have for fans of either Dokken or Stryper. A good balance for both. Let's hope they bring it to our cities and do a follow up effort!

Both Sweet and Lynch have a very long history in the metal music industry. Sweet with Stryper and Lynch with Dokken and Lynch Mob. This album is everything you would expect from two great metal musicians. If you like Stryper or Dokken you will probably love this album.

I like all but maybe one or two songs on this cd. Great stuff, somewhat reminiscent of 80s-90s hard rock but with updated sounds. Recover is my favorite but there are many good ones to choose from!

The CD is good, especially the first two songs but it mellows out a bit after that. All that being said, Michael Sweet can sing the phonebook and him combining forces with George Lynch is a great idea. Michael Sweet produced the CD as well and did a great job.

Great album by Michael Sweet (of Stryper) and George Lynch (of Dokken, Lynch Mob). Songs are catchy in a similar vein as Dokken. Fans of late 80's metal will enjoy this.
