Pretty expensive but seems to be well made. App isnt great but works ok.. i would imagine a less smart cheaper unit would physically work just as well as a toothbrush. With that being said This is my first real powered bush and could instantly tell a difference in my teeth, especially below the gumline. I purchased this unit for that particular reason due to my dentist suggesting one to help get in there better. After about a month of use gums and teeth are already looking and feeling better such a huge difference over a standard vibrating brush (the cheap 7$ ones) Absolutely recommend, really like to see the app updated but its good encouragement to brush roughly three minutes before its satisfied that you've done a good job.

There is no doubt that an electric toothbrush can do wonders for your dental health. A few years ago, I made the switch over to a smart toothbrush and while I’ve been very happy with the results, I know there is always room for improvement. That’s why I was excited to have the opportunity to test out the Oral-B Genius X, which is a really nice updated smart toothbrush from the Oral-B Pro 6000 that I had before. One thing that struck me as odd was the very subtle differences in the Smart Toothbrush models. For example, the Pro 6000 and Genius X both have a 2-week battery life while the Pro 7000 does not. It’s strange to me that the Pro 6000 is actually more feature-rich than the model above it. I also found it strange that the only real difference between the Pro 6000 and the Genius X is that the Genius X has an AI-driven smart coach. The “smart coach” is actually built into the app so if you don’t have the toothbrush connected, it’s really the same product as the Pro 6000. That said, the brush feels really good in the hand. The handle is robust and makes it really easy to control the product. It’s easy to use. You simply turn it on and start using it. You have the option to activate the timer on the handle of the toothbrush. The toothbrush does do a great job of cleaning your mouth, but I feel as though this model isn’t worth the fifty dollar increase in price between the Pro 6000 and the Genius X. If you want the advanced features, you can connect the toothbrush to the app. It’s not 100% essential for the operation of the toothbrush, but it does provide virtual coaching for the user to ensure they are brushing properly and getting the most out of the toothbrush. Oral-B refers to the app as a ‘digital coach’ and states that it’s designed to help users brush the way dental professional recommends. The A.I. brushing recognition is part of the app (as mentioned above) and it’s meant to make sure that you cover every area - every time you brush. The app is available to use with Genius 8000, 9000, and X brushes - so it’s not exclusive to the Genius X. Some of the features of the app include the personalized coaching, pressure control, and brushing activity achievements. Again, I feel like while the app provides a lot of added value, I’m not sure it warrants the extra expense of the brush handle itself. If you haven’t ever owned an electric toothbrush, this wouldn’t be a bad one to start with, but if you already have one of the Oral-B brushes, I’m not sure about upgrading.

This brush is packed with features that will help you get one of the cleanest brushed you've ever had. The AI mode using your phone to show which areas you're neglecting in real-time is so useful, and something I didn't think I needed until I tried it. Not just a gimmick, it actually has made my mouth noticeably cleaner. Pairing with my phone was extremely easy and fast. There were no hassles whatsoever in setup. It comes with 3 brush heads to try as well. All worked well for the specific tasks, though I may be a bit partial to how clean I felt after using the "whitening" brush. An extra bonus with this brush is the travel case, that also doubles as a charger, and includes storage for two brush heads and even includes a spot to charge your phone as well. Very well-thought out. The brush itself takes a bit for a full charge, but you can simply store it on the charger, otherwise though, the battery lasts for quite a while. At least two weeks for me, with brushing twice daily for about two minutes each time. Also worth noting, is that even if you're not using the AI brushing, it also records your time brushing, which are stored on the brush and can be synced to your phone in batches. It also warns about applying too much pressure while brushing with a beep and red light on the handle. You can also have the app create an Amazon Dash button and automatically reorder your brush heads once you're due. While overall I really like this brush, there are a couple things that do detract from it being perfect. First, the brush is fairly loud. I often go to bed after my wife, and I've woken her a few times from brushing my teeth. It's louder than other powered brushes I've used in the past. Secondly, the brush head is "taller" than other brushes. When I say taller, I mean from the tip of the bristles to the back of the brush head, so maybe it would be better classified as depth. But with the rotating action and more round nature of the head, I do think it works better than the others I've used. Pros: Great features, AI assisted brushing, pressure sensor, good battery life, thorough cleaning with rounded brush head, great companion app, excellent travel/charging case Cons: Louder than other powered brushes, taller/deeper than normal brush heads

OK - I have to admit that I'm loving my Oral-B Genius X 10000 toothbrush. I'm a long time "hand brusher", so was excited to finally give an electric toothbrush a try. I'm impressed - and my teeth feel cleaner than when done by hand. I even think they look more white than before - but admittedly it's hard to tell. Brush handle itself is ergonomic and light, with 6 cleaning modes and comes with an awesome case and 3 brush heads. The charge lasts easily a week as I just took it to Europe with me without the charger and had no issues at all! Great features like pressure sensitivity, built in timer, and Artificial Intelligence make this brush really stand out. Download the Oral-B app for you phone and it will sync all your previous brushings and let you know how you are doing. Take your phone into the bathroom with you and it will show you via bluetooth where you are brushing and when it is clean (by showing glowing white teeth in that area). It's amazing accurate at depicting where your brush head is in your mouth - so actually pretty cool! There are lots of features like coaching, a results page to see you often you are brushing (see image), tracks your average brush time and more! If you are looking for a toothbrush upgrade - this could easily be the one for you!

A little pricier then i wanted to spend but definitely is worth it. 3 different heads. Easy yo use and understand. Works better than expected. Has a nice travel case to take with you anywhere. A must have!!

The oral b toothbrush works well. I replaced my sonicare. Oral b seems to be a little better than my sonicare. The oral b instructions could be better as things are not clearly explained or obvious. The also have an app which seems to not work correctly.

The Oral B electric toothbrush is working great for me. I prefer the smaller round toothbrush head over the conventional elongated toothbrush heads , it's easier to get to the hard to reach areas to clean. The features are excellent and I use the software every time to make sure I do a thorough cleaning of my teeth. I previously had a Phillips Electric toothbrush which worked ok but I feel I am getting a better more thorough cleaning now. Very happy with my purchase.it could be a bit quieter though but it is not as loud as my previous Phillips Electric Toothbrush.

Love, Love Love the Oral-B Genius X 10000 Luxe Toothbrush. I have a small mouth and the brush heads are just what I need. I use to own the Oral-B Genius 9000 serius but upgraded to this one. My teeth feel so clean and with all the different modes as tongue cleaner, teeth whitener gum mode, etc. I know my teeth are getting the best cleaning and care.. LOVE MY ORAL-B Genius 10000 electric tooth brush!!!!!!

This is my 3rd rechargeable toothbrush. My last one was Phillips Sonic. I have to say I prefer the Oral b only because of the toothbrush shape. Just works better and easier. This one is good and pretty fast. Not as loud as my Phillips. Also the travel case allows for a charger for a phone. It’s made to recharge your phone while you brush and use the app to brush your teeth. Made to help you make sure you brush correctly. Different speeds including one for cleaning the tongue.

Love my tooth brush but the app, not so much. This particular model has a downloadable app feature. I downloaded it and it’s not as accurate as it should be when brushing. When I brush top middle teeth and move to the right or left it won’t follow along accurately or it registers as brushing the opposite sides. I take longer brushing when this happens so that I can complete my entire mouth according to the app. Then I get a message to not over brush. Sometimes I use it with the app and sometimes without. 5 stars on the toothbrush 2 on the app. The toothbrush case has a USB port to charge your devices and is useful. Haven’t used it yet because I forget it’s there but very cool to have as a last min power bank. Oral b app needs some tightening up to do.

Great toothbrush. Wife says it is super easy to use and her teeth feel cleaner than ever. This replaced a Sonicare toothbrush and like that this one spins instead of just vibrate.

Using the app is easy as long as you enable Bluetooth first on your cell phone. I love the multiple cleaning modes.

I had a different model as of last year and I can’t stress this enough this X 10000 blows the competition out of the water. The battery life is much longer. The brush itself is more effective. A must have if you can catch them on sale or price match

Gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. I believe she had the model or two below this one ans the features on this model make it worth it. The price tag is not to be taken lightly however there are zero cons to this device

I was a little skeptical about switching from sonic care to this, but I decided to dive in head first and try it out. Verdict: No regrets! The bluetooth function is great and the cleanness and freshness my teeth feel is amazing!

Best toothbrush I’ve bought, dentist praised me on how clean my teeth are, since I started using this toothbrush, expensive but money well spent highly recommend to anyone looking for an electric toothbrush

The Oral-B Genius is a great toothbrush. I love that I can select the color I like and it gives you a red light if you're applying too much pressure. It also as an app that you can use that can monitor how much time you've spent in each part of your mouth. I wish the spare heads that came with it were all black, but they're not, so you have a black base with a white replaceable head. But you don't have to use those, you can buy the black replacements.

Overall, it is a good product. Definitely better than a regular tooth brush. When you are cleaning a section of your teeth, sometimes it calculates that you are cleaning another section of you teeth.

I like the easiness of using this tooth. It cleans my teeth very well leaving them with the feel of a dentist cleaning after each use

This is my second Oral b I hope it lasts 12 years like the first! Just change rush heads as recommended and enjoy! By the way the first still works!
