This is a good album from Eluviete. If you like Celtic influenced metal music then this is right up your alley. All of the musicians are proficient on several instruments which involves native European instruments as well as modern electric ones. Very talented band!

Hearing such a unique blend of classical European instruments and heavy guitar riffs mixed with growls and singing creates a refreshing sound.

This is the sixth cd I've picked up from Eluveitie. They have quite a range from death metal to beautiful Celtic folk ballads. This is a heavy album with the stand out track to me being "the call of the mountains". Fans of the beautiful female vocals will enjoy this song.the accompanying dvd has some great live footage and an interesting subtitled interview with the main songwriter about the research and subject matter of the lyrics to Origins. The music videos almost gave me a headache as the camera is constantly shaking around. Besides that, it was cool.

This band just keeps getting better and better. Great balance between metal and folk.
