If you don't get it installed perfectly initially you can't easily fix it like you can with tempered glass screen protectors and then the protector is rendered useless.

Too Filmsy To Offer Significant Protection

Sadly I did not realize this until after I received it. Instructions to apply it to the phone were confusing and I didn't get mine on perfectly. It seems like it will protect against scratches but I don't think it will provide protection against falls or impacts. The one benefit is the film is so slim you'll barely notice it's there. I would not recommend this item. Search for a tempered glass screen protector instead.

Extremely convoluted instructions

Split into 4 layers with 2 additional support "tools". The 4 layers don't split the way they're supposed to as detailed in the instructions, so I had to peel layers myself which introduced new dust and more bubbles.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of manufacturers started out marketing tempered glass screen protectors for the Pixel 6 cameras and quickly realized that the on display optical fingerprint reader was not going to work with tempered glass. I have gone through two protectors and had given up when I discovered that Otterbox had revisited the issue and had come up with this film that works. This is a thin film and required that you read the instructions before you start. If done right, it is almost invisible and from my own experience the phone has no idea there is a layer of plastic between you finger and the screen. It will protect you screen from micro scratches for sure, just dont expect a solid block of glass covering your phone. In summery, works for the pixel 6 fingerprint situation.

Pulled it off and threw it in the trash. Could not leave it on, on such a beautiful phone as the Pixel 6.

Purchased it because it was one of the recommended products on the Google site for the Pixel 6 and wanted to make sure fingerprint sensitivity wasn't compromised, but it was honestly just so hard to use. Never had issues in the past with screen protectors from other brands -- but these instructions were just too complicated and despite being really careful, the end result was many, many unsightly air bubbles. Would have helped if there was an extra screen protector to try again after mastering the instructions. Anyway, just gave up and threw it away. Do not recommend.

Another person saying it's entirely unusable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love otterbox products and usually recommend them to everyone, have my case before my phone, and completely trust them to protect my expensive phone. This is a crap product and the only good thing I have to say about it is the screen is far more responsive with it than a glass protector. But I have zero faith in it protecting the screen from an impact, and the instructions were just as bad and convoluted as others mentioned. There absolutely needs to be an instructional video and a QR code linking to it included in the box. Mines mostly good after some trial and error, but it's still got bubbles on the lower half. I wouldn't recommend this product at all.

It pealed up when I tried to remove the backing and got stuck to itself rendering it useless. Don't waste your money!
