I had been looking for this item since I bought my iPad! Totally worth every penny

I would recommend this product or the money there's no better cover in the world

I love this product. I feel my iPad is completely secure and I am not very careful with my items. I'd purchase $100+ insurance on my first iPad and I dropped it shattering the screen. Once replaced through insurance, I had to buy another best buy insurance package because once used, the policy was gone. I opted for a secure case in lieu of another insurance package. Best buy had the Otterbox for $99- cheaper than the water proof covers (which had pretty poor reviews). the Otterbox had great reviews. I looked it up on Amazon and Best Buy price matched, saving me around $25 and wait time. Although the plastic screen protector gives off some glare, it protects the screen and is sensitive to the touch. Other protective covers costing over $100 did not have the screen protector and to get one was approximately $40. I'd recommend this product to anyone who uses their iPad for work or travels with it a lot. I am very happy with this product.

I am pleased with the protection it affords my iPad. It is very sturdy and fits well for good protection from sudden drop. The comparative other models were more expensive and most afforded only the same protection. This was definitely a better buy. The only drawback is that it doesn't mount on my iHome Speaker Base because the 30 pin plug won't reach through the case. Maybe Otter could offer an adapter for that in the future.

works great, hard to open up to get ipad in it, other than its great. I suppose the hard to open part just means it just does a great job of keeping the tablet protected.

I bought this after my 2 year old broke my iPad. After I replaced it I had to protect it. This is exactly what I needed. This case protects your iPad from everything except being submerged in water. Even though it was expensive, I feel comfortable that it won't break again.

If you want a rugged durable case for your iPad then get the otterbox defender.

Virtually indestructible. We work in construction and would not use anything else.

Although this is the third Otterbox product I purchased, it offers great protection for my iPad from drops & scratches. The only problem is that it is making it pretty bulky to carry. I certainly wish Best Buy will offer more colors like they do on www.otterbox.com.

This was a replacement case from BestBuy as the first started to break only after one month. Overall, I am satisfied with this product as I wish to protect m iPad2.

Product is just what I expected. It is a very good cover for my Husbands IPad.

A small price to pay for an expensive investment. Would highly recommend.
