I bought this after checking reviews for covers for the iPhone. iPhones are too expensive to leave unprotected. This cover fits great and doesn’t interfere with phone operations.

I've had several Otter Box cases over the years and they've all been great for protecting the phone--no difference here. They last well, with the limiting factor being that the rubber cover eventually stretches too much to stay on. This case's cover actually seems a bit stiffer than the old ones, so maybe it will resist this longer than others I've had did. The major downside here that I haven't experienced before is that the screen always looks like it has oil on it. I think this is due to the new design of the cover to allow use of the fingerprint scanner on the iPhone 5S. My guess is the hole reduces stiffness and allow the cover to flex relative to the screen, leaving the oily appearance. Trust me, it's not dirty. You can move the smearing by sliding your thumb down the screen, but hopefully the next version will solve this problem altogether.

This is my second Otter Box Defender cell phone case for two different phones. It is a little bulky compared to other brands but provides excellent protection for the phone.

I bought this for my son, it has already offered great protection and saved the phone from damage. So thank you very much this works great! The only downside I see is that the plastic screen sticks to the phone screen and looks like there is oil in between you just have to get used to it though.

This is my second otter box. Had to replace it due to wear and tear. My son throws my phone across the room and it's still fine and intact.

I love this case!!! It is amazing & powerful! It protects your phone like no other! I have had OtterBoxs for all of my phones. I have this case & the defender case. The color is fun, too.

I had OtterBox case for my last phone. It outlasted my last phone of almost 5yr. I brought another one for new phone. I like to clip it on my belt for walking.

This is my all time favorite case for an iphone (or any other phone for that matter). It gives excellent protection and looks great too! It is also easy to install on the iphone.

This is my second Otter Box case. It has saved my phone from many drops and spills although it's not completely waterproof. The reason I had to buy a new one was because of the plastic cover over the phone screen scratches over time and it gets hard to see clearly though.

Fits like a glove. Perfect against any dirt or abrasions. I just use the casing without the holster. I really like this defender series otter box phone case. Great buy!!!!

I have been using OtterBox cases for my families' ipods and iphones for years. This case was for my son's iPhone. I've dropped iPods and phones more times than I like but they always survive the drop when wrapped in the OtterBox Defender or Commuter. Other cases are simply not an option. We never use the belt clip/holster though because they are WAY too big and bulky. We also rip the front screen protector out of the OtterBox case because we protect our screens with Zagg InvisibleShields.

Color looks great and case fits perfectly on iPhone 5s. Great access to home button and doing a great job so far of keeping the elements away from the phone.

Provides excellent protection at the cost of additional weight and size. I carry my phone with the belt clip and this case has prevented damage when it has gotten knocked loose or been bumped.

The case provides great protection and does not limit any functions of the phone. What I like most is that it does not add a considerable amount of weight, nor does it appear to be bulky in the least. I have tried several cases and the size and durability cannot be matched. I have not had any issues with the functionality of the phone being limited by any aspect of the case. Overall, a great purchase!

I've put an Otterbox case on every new phone I've owned as well as my kids and husband had. I even bought one for my iPad ... I drop everything ! And this case works!! I only had one break and that was when I was messing around and accidentally launched my phone down the street , after landing on the asphalt and sliding , face down!!! I ran and picked it up and there was a crack on the side of my case but the phone was perfect ! Since that cover was already 2 years old and been dropped many times I figured it did its job and I got another one ....I will always buy Otterbox .

this is my 2nd, Otter box, I think it does a great job of protecting the phone. Pretty decent color, but wish there were even more colors to choose from. One downside is after moving it a few times, it stretches out and won't shrink back into place.

I always stray from Otterbox when I get a new phone, but end up finding my way back eventually. They are overpriced but typically hold up longer than the cheap cases and work better. Eventually all cases will be torn up, but Otterbox claims it can be sent back to them and replaced. The average person won't go through the hassle of doing this, but I have in the past and was able to get a new one sent to me. Overall, great case and I will end up buying Otterbox until something better comes along. (Lifeproof cases are not better in my opinion. Even more money, awkwardly shaped, terrible screen cover and not always waterproof as they claim.)

This is an excellent case for phone protection and has saved the day the multiple times I've dropped it. A bit bulky, but not bad for the quality.

This cover was purchased for my teenager and her new Iphone. It's difficult to put on and to take off, but since we don't do that everyday it was something we could live with. It's not easy to plug the power cord into it to plug to phone in to charge it, but again nothing too bad, we could live with it. Although there are a lot of "live withes" on this product at the end of the day it does it's job "protect the phone". I feel very comfortable with her using her phone & don't have to constantly say "be careful don't drop your phone".

These are just the best case on the market. Fit is great it keeps the phone clean and safe. I have dropped it a few times and no problems.
