I wouldn't be without the Otter Box! My s5 iPhone is slippery and thin and I'm afraid that I will drop it and break it....but with the Otter Box, it is easy to grip, the phone is protected and I don't have to worry about it. I'd be nervous without it.

OtterBox Defender is the perfect protection for my iPhone. It provides front screen protection with a durable clear plastic face, rear protection case, and a rubber edge protection that juts out from the front face so that if phone falls, the rubber absorbs the impact while the clear plastic protects the delicate screen. The case also comes with a durable swivvel belt clip which I find a must for easy carry access. The OtterBox is strong yet not so bulky. It actually looks like it's part of the phone which is pretty cool. This is my second one I received as a gift. The first one is now my backup - not bad!

I purchased an expensive i-Phone cover at a phone store but I had to remove the cover to use the earbuds. I went to Best Buy to purchase a new cover and spoke to one of my favorite sales associates. She not only helped me choose the OtterBox phone cover but also gave me a tutorial. Technology has become less frustrating because of the individualized help I receive at Best Buy!

The IPhone case protects the phone and still makes it easy to use the functions, including accessing the charging port. I can sit on it and it does not break.

I alway bought outter box products. Great quality for reasonable price. Other brand cases cost up to 100% more for the same quality.

Absolutely would never walk out of the store without putting an OtterBox on a phone. The only issue I have with the design of the one for the 5s is; dust gets in between the phone and screen at the bottom of the screen at the "On Button", as you can see from the photo. Still, even with this, the level of protection is superior.

I like this case because it protects my phone wholely without and panic.

I can very highly recommend this product for protecting you expensive iPhone. My Otter Box was installed by Best Buy same day I purchased my iPhone SE. in 1 year and 9 months it seems like I have dropped my iPhone SE a million times, mostly onto my concrete driveway getting in and out of my vehicle since I usually have too much stuff in my hands. This Otter Box keeps on protecting my iPhone. GREAT BUY

I bought this cover because I have an otterbox for my Samsung and I like it. My wife does not have good luck with phones or covers so we managed to get her a good phone and hopefully she will be satisfied with this cover. My wife really likes this iPhone cover. She loves the pink color, how thin it is (she can put it in her pocket) and how well the holes/opening/flaps match the phone (we've bought cheap covers and they didn't match and she complained all the time). So far so good. She has dropped the phone a few times and it survived but only from a short distance. Her only concern is how well it will clean up that is to be determined.

When looking for a case I wanted something that would protect from dropping and allow me to hook it to my belt. Since the case is a little bulky it is a little tough to stick it in my front pockets where I used to keep my phone. The back pocket is fine, butt you know it is there...haha The little holster is great for strapping on my belt. Keeps dirt and dust out for the most part and has a grip to it so it doesn't slide around too bad. Funny product labeling...assembled in the USA with foreign materials. From China? Haha I'd buy another one. In fact this is the 4th one I have had. I am pretty hard on stuff. I would rather not pay $50 for a piece of plastic. But I guess it protects my $500 phone.

I purchased this case for my wife's phone. I have previously purchased Otterbox cases for my tablet and phone. Like those cases, this one fits perfectly, provides excellent protection, and at the sale price was an excellent value. The only reason I don't give this case 5 stars is that because all of the similar cases I have purchased, the integrated screen protector is VERY glossy and can create some issues with glare, As this is only on certain lighting conditions it is not a deal breaker though. Also, it should be noted that the color is listed as wild orchid, but it is VER HOT, almost day-glow, pink. Fine for my wife who loves it, but maybe not for everyone.

This Otter Box gave greater protection than those previously purchased at cheaper web sites. The fit is perfect, the sides do not overlap, and the overall construction of this box is exemplary. It is extremely easy to put on and take off, a feature that I never had on cheaper versions. The colors that are available are beautiful, as well. Overall, I am very pleased that I spent a little more for the quality!

So I bought a new iPhone 5s and it was very light and slippery, and only a matter of time before it fell. I wanted something to provide rock solid protection. In general, Otter Box had very solid reviews. While I would have liked a water proof model, various reviews on those were not very good regarding call quality and, after all, what is a phone for if not making and receiving calls? Looking at the store display and talking with the very helpful smartphone sales folks at my local Best Buy, I opted for the Otter Box Defender series. Sure, you seem to be able to drive a tractor trailer over the top of the line model, but I am not an oil field worker in need of such protection. The Defender provides good solid inner case plastic protection with a tactile outer rubber case at a not totally ridiculous price for a bunch of plastic and rubber. The sales rep I spoke with sheepishly admitted to dropping his iPhone 4 in an Otter Box Defender from the second story and it survived with no apparent damage. Not a recommended testing procedure, I am sure. He was also up front on the downsides of the Defender: it is very difficult to install and remove, it is hard to keep lint out from under the front screen (which then necessitates removal and re-install). He then proceeded to demonstrate the difficulty by installing and removing the case at least 4 times before he felt he had gotten all the lint and dust off the inside of the screen. While he may have missed one piece on the edge of the screen, thankfully, I have not found lint and dust infiltration to be as big of a problem as he had suggested it would be, because it was a big chore even for an experienced person to remove and reinstall this case. On the other hand, that does speak to the security of the case. One item I have not seen in other reviews, is how the front screen plastic constantly looks like an oil spill! I was concerned about how the plastic might interfere with the touch screen functionality, but that has not been an issue. Fingerprints and oils from your skin are the big issue. I am constantly cleaning the screen. Even when clean, the petroleum chemicals in the plastic make it look like there is a constant oil slick on the screen, making it look dirty. Even people looking at the phone ask if something spilled on it, so it is not just my perception. One last item, which I am concerned may be related to the front screen, is that the phone is basically useless in sunlight - you can not see the screen. While I have not removed the case, due to the difficulty mentioned above, I will be doing so to see it I can then seen the phone screen in sunlight. This may be why the sales rep also mentioned that a lot of people remove the front screen and replace it with a Zagg screen protector. Food for thought, although I was less than impressed with the Zagg on my 3GS, and the price for that piece of sticky plastic is almost as much as the Otter Box Defender case itself! All in all, the Otter Box Defender appears to be providing the high level of protection I was looking for at a relatively reasonable price point (especially catching a sale) for a bunch of molded plastic and rubber. In the end result, it is cheap protection for an expensive phone.

This case provides some of the best protection I have seen. Very solid construction. Easy to attach to phone. The belt clip is very good, especially with the ability to use it in multiple different positions. Phone is very secure when attached to the belt clip. The case is a little bulkier than many cases I have seen, but it is well worth it for the added protection.

Love this case, it is the best kind of protection. It might make your iphone feel heavier and a little bulky but it really protects it.
