This Otter shock resistant protector looks really cool on my phone. I am able to use my phone without having issues reaching for buttons, etc. while is safe. I dropped it twice already and my phone doesn't have a single scratch on it.

Overall it's a really good case. Very protective and durable. However, I have 3 different car dash holders and the case is so large it has to be forced into any of the holders, but it is usable, just a two handed, not while in motion forced fit. Additionally, the protective rubber flip cover for the charger port has the potential to cause more damage than it protects from. I understand trying to keep dust and debris out of the port, but it is very frustrating plugging in your charger and any other port accessories such as Square. My wife and I both have cut the rubber flip tab off thre charger port area.

Cause regular price for phone case that nobody uses anymore so I felt that it should have been on sale for at least half the price that I paid over priced item one color selection very disheartening

Super case for the Samsung Galaxy S8+. Not only offers great protection but is easy to manipulate back & forth when taking pix or if you need to hang on your belt.

My phone was run over by a car. You could see tire prints on back of phone. It was well protected only thing hurt was screen protector. My phone had no damage

I write my summary because I have a muscle disease that causes tremors. I had a cell from Motorola a great phone but I dropped it with a cheap case which broke the phone :(. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to replace it for 700 dollars, This product was recommended by my Uncle who trains Truckers and had dropped his phone and destroyed it on the concrete in a truck stop. I have dropped my new phone hard several times and it works great still. Very pleased with item glad Best Buy sells them.

It's already slid off the arm of my recliner about 2 and half feet onto a tile floor and all that happened is the screen protector (doesn't come with this case and is another brand) got dislodged a little. I had the phone resting on its face which is very slippery. With it on its back in the case it tough to make it slide due to the roughness. Easy to hold in your hand with the rough sides too.

Great protection! I've dropped my phone at least 20 times and no damage to the phone or screen. Just don't take the case on and off because it stretches then doesn't go back on right.

Great phone cover for my Galaxy 8+. Fits like a glove and glad I purchased it because right after, I dropped my phone and it just bounced around on the ground and landed face down.. without a scratch on my phone. Case got a lil dirty but, wiped it off and looked great.. Thanks BB!

With the extra added grip and protection. There really isn't a reason to buy a cheap phone case. I have drop or have seen this phone been dropped while in this case. The force is no match for the protection and even the added comfort while texting is just an added bonus to an already stellar phone case. 5/5. Must buy!

If you have a cell phone that cost in vcd the hundreds protect your investment get the defender phone case by otto box and you cant beat the price at Best Buy I've had it for a a week and drop it 2x already with not damage to my samsun S8+

The Otterbox - Defender Series Modular Case is an excellent case to have for your phone. It also protects where your phone charger connects to the phone and where your earphones plug into the phone.

Purchased this to protect a new cellphone. With young kids, my cellphones usually last a few weeks before the screen is cracked. With this protector on, my screen is still intact.

My cp is protected much better with this case. The last case i had did not protect the glass on my cp at all and after dropping my phone it cracked instantly..not with this case.

Easy to attach to phone. Use bracket in shopping cart when I buy groceries. Attach it to child seat and use my calculator. Works great

Your phone is safe and secure with an Otterbox. (I don't use the belt clip, but the rest of the protection is great.) I have used Otterbox on all of my phones.
