Overall good case but it leaves ALOT to be desired for rear camera protection… other than that it is a wonderful case, slightly more camera protection would have gotten this case 5 stars

I’m a fan of most Otterbox products but the rubber part the protects the lighting cable port broke off after some use. I’m not satisfied with this purchase

Otterbox has been my GO TO ever since my first iPhone which was the 7 Plus. Ever since MagSafe I have been hoping otterbox would make MagSafe compatible cases and they are starting to and it’s awesome so far. This case is very similar if not the same as the Otterbox Pursuit except this one doesn’t have the speaker cutouts facing upwards towards the user but actually facing downwards like the OG Otterbox Design as well as the obvious MagSafe compatibility which is good as well. The sides are nice and grippy and I feel confident holding my phone just like you would with a regular Defender. The back is more of a soft and kind of slippery material but it’s still providing maximum protection. Overall I love this case and although there isn’t ALOT of camera protection I still believe that someone who uses this case will get their moneys worth. Otterbox is just one of the BEST when it comes to design, protection, and durability!

I love the case. It’s thin, has real MagSafe, and good protection. Many other cases claim to have MagSafe and its knock off. All animations work with this one. Highly recommended

A great case! It is strong, and feels good in your hand. Works great with the Magsafe. A little expensive...but well made. I also sent off for my free belt clip.

I love the slim fit of this case and how protective it is while allowing me to use my MagSafe accessories. Honestly, it’s my favorite case so far.

I had the regular Otterbox Defender case on my IPhone 12 Pro, and unfortunately it was nearly impossible to charge wirelessly, no matter what charger you used. So I bought one of these Otterbox Defender Pro XT models from my local Best Buy, and it went on rather easily. I was delighted to see that there was a validation code inside the box to get a free holster / belt clip for it like my old Otterbox Defender Pro case had. They really are a must. I guess Otterbox found that most people do not use these holsters, and decided to go this route. I would say that a better option would be to charge another $10 for the belt clip option, as waiting for it to show up in the mail is sort of a hassle, to be honest. I wanna walk out the door with a walking holster, especially for $69. Just a FYI - the holster from the original Otterbox Defender case will NOT fit this phone case. So in summary, I do appreciate the fact that I could get a free holster in the mail (free shipping, too), but I think the better option would be to sell it without the holster @ a more reasonable price of $59, and simply stock your local BestBuy stores with $10 holsters that fit for those of us who need them, especially at this $69 price tag. Just some feedback I hope Otterbox reads, and considers...

I have had this phone case for 2 years and it is still like brand new with very few scratches. I needed something that was durable since I drop things a lot. I even added a pop socket to the back and it’s held on great for the entire time I’ve had the case. The only part that came off was the flap that covers the charging port about 4 months ago. I’ve dropped my phone face down on concrete and it’s fallen out of my car when I sit down and the case is definitely doing it’s job.

I love OtterBox cases, but this one in particular was top notch. It saved my phone from countless drops, even into puddles. I plan to repurchase this case for my next phone. The cases are also not too thick or clunky. I highly recommend the Defender series.

This case is hands-down the best is on the market. It’s not too bulky and is very durable. I have dropped my phone several times and it has perfectly absorbed the impact without allowing the phone to crack/break. The only downside is the high cost.

I accidentally "field tested" the OtterBox with a drop from ~3 feet onto pavement. It sustained a slight scratch on one corner but saved my iPhone. It very easily attaches to the MagSafe charger and I am happy to not to have to depend on a USB cable. It is definitely worth the price.

As always Otterbox makes a good case. This case works well with MagSafe chargers which is why I bought it. I only give it 4 stars because the camera protection isn’t all that great. All my previous Otterbox cases had a pretty large lip around the camera or the back was thick and the lenses were well protected. With this case the lenses are flush with the back of the case. To some this may not be a big deal but for me I’m pretty rough on the backs of phones, I guess how I carry and handle it, I’ve scratched lenses before and I’ve also completely knocked a lense out of the phone once.

This is my 2nd Otterbox and I continue to feel i's the best way to protect my iPhones. I had my iPhone 6s for 5 years and bought an Otterbox to keep it safe from damage. I traded iPhone 6s in to Verizon for a iPhone 12 and when I had to describe it's condition I said it was like new. After Verizon received my 6S, they notified me that they had also considered my 6S to be like new and in perfect condition so I would receive the maximum trade in value. There was not 1 scratch, nick, or physical defect on my phone- thank you Otterbox!

I went from the iphone 8plus to the iphone 12. W the larger thilcker otter box. This one is easier to handle, weighs less and fits in my pocket better. Thank you otter box

Perfect fit for a new phone for my son. Definitely trust otterbox to protect an expensive phone for a kind of responsible 12 yr old.

The slimmest case with the most protection feels great in pocket or hand.

I bought this case because I purchased a MagSafe magnetic dash mount and needed a compatible case. The Defender is pretty lightweight (moreso than my previous case for my iPhone 12 Pro) and the edges protrude past the screen a little so I don't need a screen guard (if I drop it, the edges will absorb the blow). It also sticks quite well to the OtterBox dash mount.
