It's a beautiful case at first and I only bought it for the name. However, it is definitely not scratch resistant as it claims. It looks pretty worn out and it hasn't even been a year. I would not recommend this case solely because the quality does not justify the price point.

Bought this case March 11th & received it March 20th. I appreciate the fast delivery! Initially I was apprehensive about the Symmetry Series at 1st because it was very thin. I assumed it wouldn't be as protective as the more bulkier cases that Otterbox offers. However, I decided to go with the Color: Stardust. After placing my phone into the case, I tried the power, volume, and Bixby buttons to see if they were difficult to press. After reading last years reviews for the S8, I was afraid they'd be too stiff. However Otterbox listened to the reviews from last year and this year the buttons work great & are easy on the fingers. I didn't find myself struggling at all. Afterwards, I laid the phone down on a flat surface & the phone didn't touch the surface at all. It is protected by the case at the top & bottom. (I will insert pictures.) I love the fact that the back of the Symmetry case provides guidance for your finger to the fingerprint sensor. You don't have to worry about smudging your camera, because the case leads your finger directly to the fingerprint sensor. I have the Lilac Purple S9 & the Stardust case looks amazing on my device. When held up to the light or the sun, the case is definitely eye catching! I'm not a huge fan of the color purple, so I love that the case changes the hue of the purple just a bit. It can come off metallic purple & maybe a tad pink (my actual favorite color). I am extremely satisfied with this case & I hope it keeps my phone safe because I have a history of dropping my phones a lot! I usually avoid clear cases because they are slippery to me. This one has just enough grip to make me feel secure in holding the phone yet able to slide in my pocket. The design on this case gives the phone a cool dimension...like you're looking into it. I put it on my Lilac colored S9 and just love the way the color shines thru. Keeps fingerprints off the shiny finish! Very happy!

Very solid cover it is well made. Fits very snug and tight. If your phone drops you can guarantee it wont slip out of its cover. It is transparent only downside is it gets scratches easily. But other than that I would recommend.

I bought this case for my husband and he really liked it. It has provided enough protection but is not bulky like some of the other cases. He is not flashy so this case is perfect-simple. Fits well in his pants pocket.

This case fits the phone perfectly. Not clunky or too bulky. Slim but sturdy. Easy to put on and remove if needed. The phone charges on the wireless fast charger pad while this case is on my phone.

I got a purple phone and wanted the color seen. This clear case does that and being an OtterBox it does an excellent job of protecting the phone. It's easy to take off and put back on

Its ok, I like that the phone is protected and you can see the color of the phone through the case. I don't like the bulky clear front of the case. Would be better of the front surround color matched the phone color. Also seems to scratch easy.

I like the feel of this case and it is not obtrusive with the curved screen. Easy to grip and seems to afford good protection to the sides and corners of the phone.

This is a great safe case I drop my phone all the time and haven't broke it yet. It's clear so you can see the color of the phone. Only thing is back cover shows scratches

I usually go with the Otterbox Defender series but I didn't like the colors or the feel of the phone with it on. This case works great for protecting the phone itself. Combine with a screen protector and your entire phone is covered. It doesn't make it hard to use the buttons like some other ones either. And it looks really great with the blue phone. I love the sparkles. The only thing I could say is I wish the color on the bottom got a little darker.

The Symmetry by OtterBox gives the same reliable protection as my previous OtterBox products, while having a sleek design making it less clunky than other cases. The only issues are that this case can squeeze incompatible screen protectors off the phone since many S9 screen protectors only adhere to the curved sides. Dropping the phone from most angles should be safe, but some angles leave the phone exposed since the sides of the case do not extend as high as the top and bottom of the frame.

Love the rubber feel of the case. It comes up over the edge of the screen protection. Also works with the screen saver. I like that it is clear and shows the color of the phone. If only they didn't put a white sticker with the bar code on the back of the phone. I would buy it again. My last phone had a similar case and it lasted 2 years and many drops of the phone.

Having your phone in this case and holding it in your hands gives you the feeling of invincibility and power! When I hold it I think to myself, "is this how Zeus felt as he hurled his mighty thunderbolt from the top of mount Olympus?!" I'm sure it is... thanks to this case. Also I can add a photo to the back because it's see through, pretty sweet.

I got this case for my sister's s9. It looks a little different than the pic on the website. It has more of a sparkle look along with the color fade. Regardless, she loved the look of the case. It is very well made case. The side power button cover is a little stiff but it functions adequately. It protects the sides and back if the phone well. Good value for the price.

Bought this for my phone and it has protected my phone numerous times from drops of about 5 feet high. I haven't had my phone cracked nor broken yet. The design is a little bulky but not much, enough to protect phone from a fall. It is easy to remove and placed back on phone for cleaning.

I really like this case and am glad I returned the original case I got with this phone. The Symmetry does not add a lot of bulk to the phone and it has just the right amount of ‘grip’ so that it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to slide out of my hand. I also like that the case is easily removable so I can go ‘bare’ when I need to.
