I bought two of these cases, one for my mother, and one for my mother- in- law after adding them to our plan, and getting them new phones. It has proven to be beyond adequate protection. It is thick, and rubbery all around. It is not waterproof, and does not have a screen protector built in, but I knew that when I bought it. Their is only one drawback that keeps it from getting 5 stars: it is very difficult to use the volume keys and power button. I understand the idea behind making the buttons thick, but sometimes too much is just TOO MUCH. That small caveat aside, this is, in my opinion, an excellent case which will provide great protection for years to come.

Cell phones are quite expensive for my budget so I thought purchasing a case for my new Samsung Galaxy would be a good "insurance" policy against dropping or any kind of damage. It fits quite tightly onto the cell phone. All of the necessary buttons can be operated easily. There is an opening for the rear camera. The feel of the case is smooth but not slippery. It does not add much weight to the phone but you know that it is capable of taking punishment. If there were two things that I would like to see they would be: 1. the ability to clip the case onto my belt. 2. a way to keep the USB area from accumulating dust.

Great fit, easy for teen to put on and take off of phone as needed. I worry less about cracked screens/corner from drops. This isn't too bulky, but adds lot if protection.

It provided great protection for my phone and the case is not so smooth as to slip from my hand easily. It did not come vcd with screen protectors. I had to order them separately.

The fit is exact, and protection is good. It does not add too much bulk to the phone.

This OtterBox case fits my Samsung Galaxy J7 like a glove. I feel very secure with this case on my phone. I have dropped My phone several times and it was protected. No harm to my phone. Give it a try!

I recently had to replace my phone of three years because I took my otterbox off for two minutes. The otterbox was stolen and my phone dropped-something that happened 20 times a day-without the otterbox and the screen shattered. I will never be without my otterbox again!

Case was easy to put on my phone. Had one for another phone I had and loved it so I bought this for my new phone. Wish it had a clip but that's okay. Protects my phone with being bulky. Easy to operate the buttons.

I always get an OtterBox cover for my phone. This cover is sleek, and stylish. Grippy around the edges, but slides easily into your pocket. It's a one piece so it's easy to put on, and take off. Great quality.

We purchased this cover for an Android phone. We usually get the Defender series, but that wasn’t available for this phone model so we went with this one, and we are very pleased with the fit and protection.

Excellent hard case for the Samsung j7. Keeps the phone safe and secure. I would still recommend a tempered glass screen protector just as a precaution but it works perfectly.

This cover is slim fitting and will allow the POP socket handle to attach and holds securely Very happy with cover. This is the 3rd purchased from Otterbox

Very good product, easy to attach to phone. Keeps it safe from falls. Weird how otterboxes aren't just built onto phones and you have to pay an additional $60....

I have problems dropping my phone.. all the time..from various heights.. once already was even from a deer stand while testing the deer stand out before its actual purpose of use. The ground under the deer stand, when testing, was on concrete so the phone dropped about 20ft.. I got this case hoping I would get some more life out of my phone with better protection from it breaking.. I have had it for 3 months so far and its held up great. Few scratchs on the case but overall worth the money.

Thoughtful design thick enough to protect but smooth surface on back makes it easy to get out of a pocket. The slightly rubbery edge makes it easy to grip.
