Good camera! got it during the sale at best buy. it does the job. You cannot compare it with the DSLR cameras, it just as good for the job. low light performance is not great. It's the go to camera for me for most family events. Mostly I would recommend the camera for everyday use.

Got this camera for Christmas for the wide angle and telephoto features. It is my fourth Lumix camera in the last 10 years. They all have had good reliability and capabilities for a wide variety of pictures. I especially like the candid capability for family events. It also promises to be great for outdoor scenery and nature pictures with long zoom and stabilization for clear pictures.

My wife and I are getting into birding and we bought this "bridge camera" as a lower cost alternative to an SLR with a 55-300 lens. We have taken some remarkable pictures and posted on Audubon with great feed back. The camera has been replaced by newer models so at 50% off regular Best Buy price, grab one while you can!

Great camera for the money! Great features and quality and a little easier to use and learn than some more expensive models.

My second Panasonic Lumix and it doesn't disappoint. Crystal clear pictures and easy to use.

I've had this camera for about a month and to this point I've used it exclusively fo indoor flash photos. I bought it to replace a canon dslr primarily to take with me when travelling because of the size and weight of multiple lenses. The high magnification zoom is a bonus. For a novice, it appears to be a good fit for my purposes.

My girlfriend wanted an upgrade and this is the one I choose. She wanted a burst shooting feature and this camera had that and also amazing zoom. Also found it on sale for 180 with original price tag of 300. She's happy and I didn't have to break the bank!

Really love its light weight and look. Love that its got a setting for just point and click but also gives me the opportunity to use manual settings so I can teach myself how to use for a more professional look. Would recommend to family and friends.

This is a fine camera in many ways, but after losing some photos and a conversation with Panasonic, I learned that you must use the included panasonic software to download photos. (I use Picasa.) That makes the camera less than 5 star, since iPhoto would have the same problem - so if you buy this, and it is a fine piece of equipment, use their photofun software to downloard

I purchased this as a gift. I tested my self and was happy with the easy functions. Nice crisp images and lots of scene selections to choose from.manual function also included. Think it's a great intro for some one before diving into an DSLR.

This is a good camera that has it all: good image quality, good optical zoom and very good quality video.

Zoom is fantastic - the most valuable feature in this camera; you can reach where you can't see with your own eyes. Getting used to the settings menus requires some time and practice - not a standard approach. It's much easier to stick to automatic modes. The body makes an annoying constant noise which is most loud at the full zoom.

Lumix makes quality products. The 60x zoom is incredible and the resolution is clear. We use this for hobby, vacation and family photos. It's perfect for panoramic views of mountains and wildlife at a distance.

I have wanted a camera with a long zoom lens for a long time.. I found that the ones I liked were out of my price range.. At last at age 80, I was able to purchase really nice camera with a 60X zoom and wide angle also Love my camera..

great camera, feels good, shoots superb pics, good features, only downside is lack of mic in socket when shooting video, oh and the zoom got stuck just the once at x3, had to do a reset via the menu to get it back...

Very nice camera bought open box at a nice price and everything came with it. Wish it had wifi but doesn't. Takes really nice pictures and still learning all the functions. Zoom is really good for camera in price range. Had a point and shoot so size and weight take some getting use to.
