It's hard to review this film while avoiding a spoiler about the last act of the film, which is where it really shines. The Fault in our Stars, also based on a novel by the same author, was a good movie with a talented lead actress (Shailene Woodley), this is a much better film with a model recently turned actress who has an interesting screen presence in her limited screen time -- if she didn't the film wouldn't work because the protagonist's journey would seem even more absurd (see her also in Luc Besson's visually stunning sci-fi spectacle Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets where she has enough charisma to save DeHaan's less interesting character). The atypical approach to the story is the highlight here and the main reason for my recommendation despite Miss Delevigne's charms.

I was a fan of The Fault in Our Stars so I decided to give Paper Towns a try and I'm glad I did. I loved this story and the actors they chose did really well in their roles. It was even fun to see the cameo at the gas station. I like that this is a story that could happen to anybody, however I feel most parents would not be as easygoing as Margo's if their child ran away. I think everyone can relate to at least one of the characters.

The second of John Green's novels turned movie really delivers the message of the book. I remember sitting watching having the AHA moment of finally understanding why it was called Paper Towns. It takes a bit away from the book diluting the conflict a bit but it still makes up for some pretty perfect casting choices as well as sharing that you only are young once so to do as much as possible then.

I am still not sure what genre of movie to put this one under. Was it a romantic flick, a comedy or a mystery? This movie hits on many subjects young adults face before leaving for college. Overall, it's a fun movie, but is a little surprising how it ends. If it's on sale and you want a decent movie, I would recommend getting this one.

John Green Story Translates Well to Film!

John Green is one of my favorite authors, and like The Fault in Our Stars, the book Paper Towns translated well to film. The movie is well-cast, and the story is unique and captures the complexity of emotions of teens at the transitional stage of graduating from high school. Nat Wolff is perfect in his role!

The entire movie is great until the very end. It's not what I wanted to see but still a great movie. AND one of the reasons why I wanted this movie was because I loved the song search party they played on the commercials and they only played it once at a party in the background. Irritating.

You know how you first started out with a "what if..." And then it quickly turned into a "I think it may be..." Only to evolve into "I know it is." Only to turn out to be the unexpected twist. Paper Towns captivates you because you join Quentin in his Sherlock Holmes journey into finding his true love. I enjoyed the journey because it reminds you that finding the drive to do something has to come first before actually doing it, otherwise we can easily give up.

I went with my daughter to the theater to see this movie. It was good and if you were really into the Naked Brothers band like my daughter then you should like this movie. She still loves Nat Wolff!!

had some reward points and was in the mood for a movie night. stopped by best buy and spent an unusually long time browsing their movie section. picked this one up based on the description from the back of the jacket thinking "The only one I haven't seen that sounds half way interesting, half boring". After watching it I decided 100% interesting and surprising with 0% boring and predictable

John Green is a wonderful author that makes all of his works so relatable. This is reflected in the movie adaptations. Great characters, acting, and music. Not as good as Fault in Our Stars

The book is one of my favorites in my library. The movie's adaptation isn't the best, and I'm not a fan of the ending. I wasn't a fan of it in the book either, but this was so much worse.

I read the book prior to seeing the movie. Of course the book is better (isn't it always?!) but the film is pretty good and I am glad that it is a new addition to my dvd collection.

This is a great movie! Also, Best Buy had the best price around my area. (Saratoga-American Fork) I usually always buy my my movies at Best Buy and I wasn't disappointed this time!

Good teen movie. Doesn't quite follow the book to the letter, but still enough John Green storyline to make it good. If you're a John Green book fan, you will enjoy it.

This is an interesting young adult romantic excursion but not the ideal romance film more of a fantasy gone nowhere in one kids mind , but still entertaining.

I thought the movie was fine but unrealistic especially since there were no repercussions for actions and the kids seemed to do what they wanted to do.
