I've had the drone for several weeks now and use it almost daily. Let's start with the bad news first. The battery life is really low and almost never charges to a full 100%; you'll never get more than 10 minutes of flight out of the stock battery. The drone drifts, sometimes quite badly, on windy days. The controls, when piloted through an iPad Air, are responsive, but occasionally lag (which can send the drone moving farther than intended). It is dependent upon wireless signal to control, so unless you have a super powerful iPad, you will never reach the full altitude limit. The bottom mounted camera is almost useless as it is very grainy and unclear. Now for the good. This thing is a tank! When you crash it (and you will) don't fret. I've had several crashes already and the drone pops right back up after a relaunch. The front mounted camera is pretty clear on video playback, although it won't look it from live feed. The controls are easy to learn. It comes with indoor bumpers (the indoor hull) and a bumper-less outdoor hull. It's simple to put together and replacement parts seem to be readily available online (not through Best Buy) and inexpensive. But, most importantly, this thing is FUN!!! You'll definitely want to buy this one and learn on it before you purchase one of the super expensive ones. I highly recommend this drone for anyone who is interested in drones or remote flight.

This took some getting used to but was quickly grasped. The controls work well in joypad mode but the flight is jerky. Once you get used to how it likes to turn and stop abruptly, it is pretty fun. Keep some spare propellers and pins handy if you will fly near trees as the wind can take it sideways from time to time. The camera is a novelty as it is pretty clear but the videos are hard to watch without stabilization due to the jerky flights. For the $, highly recommended.

great for beginners...just wish they had battery that would last longer...get about 10 min of flight time before you have to recharge. Otherwise its fun to use.

I wish it lasted longer in flight. Technology is almost there and this is proof of it. Cool little toy and takes pretty good footage.

Very user friendly and easy to get going right out of the box. Only has about 15 minutes flight time per charge but great product when compared to similar drones.

This is a great drone to get your feet wet with. I wish it had a longer flying time because you get around 8-10 minutes on a single charge. The camera is very good. I wouldn't say excellent, but it does look pretty decent. If you can find it for under the msrp this is a good thing to pick up if you are looking at drones.

It is easy to use but doesn't fly that high. It also has a short flight time. But still fun to play around with

Granted I purchased this for my son for Christmas and was hoping he'd enjoy this but the flight time isn't very long and only came with one battery. Got a killer deal on it but he decided he'd rather have the cash. I think that if drones are your thing, this would be a great first timer purchase.

After reading reviews and everything. I thought this would be a good drone. But it doesn't fly very good. Once you finally get it connected to your smart phone and the app to load. The drone will go about 3 feet in the air and then error out. If you do get it to go up and hover you can't move it forward or backwards you can only turn it and move up and down. In my experience the only time i got it to stay in the air so i could move it was when the battery was under 50% if it was above 50% the drone would go up and then flip backwards or crash with an angle error, ultrasound error, etc...

We could not get this drone to do more than fly about 6 feet off of the ground and then error out. Waited for a claim day, got no response.
