I thought this seemed a bit excessive/unnecessary at first, but as someone who has a black thumb this pot is awesome! It's really cool to see stats on how it monitors temp, soil moisture etc. and the self watering feature is amazing. I think this stands to be the only plant I've ever been able to keep alive.
