In one of our home offices, we use the HP ENVY all-in one with an i-5 chip (27" screen with speakers on the side); in the other one, we use this new HP Pavilion with an i-7 chip. Both work well, but I prefer the Pavilion's lack of speakers on the sides (on the bottom instead), so it takes up less room, which makes a difference because of the desk it's used on. The i-7 does seem faster in terms of loading my email and general web surfing, but I haven't done a specific time study. My feeling is that it is quicker. Even though it has the i-7 chip, it was a bit cheaper than the ENVY we purchased last year, because it was on sale ($230 off). Best Buy didn't have the i-7 ENVY version in the store when I bought the Pavilion, but the i-7 version of the ENVY would have been much more money, and I don't think I would have gotten enough value for the difference in price to justify it. I'm happy with the Pavilion 27" AIO. So far, both HP AIOs have been trouble free (both replaced Dell PCs that were starting to have trouble after 5 years or so; not that Dell isn't as good, but their 27" AIO was so much more money than the HPs, and Best Buy didn't carry them anyway, and I prefer buying in a store over ordering online). We are pleased with the purchase. I had tried to get my dad to buy one of them last year, but he bought a less-than-$400 HP all-in-one computer from an office supply sotre (it didn't have intel chip), and it was significantly inferior. I tried to use it, but found it quite frustratingly slow. I thought it was due to the DSL he used, but when I inherited it this year and plugged it into my cable network, it was still very slow, leading me to buy the Pavilion at more than twice the price, but it is much more than twice the satisfaction to use.

Great unit but they designed the unit so that the USB port is under the screeen. One has to tilt the screen back to put in a flash drive. I fixed this by putting a portable USB multi-port under the screen. I plug it in to the screen USB port and Velcro the unit to the bottom of the screen frame.

Love touchscreen, wireless mouse & keyboard. Having Cortana for help & to talk to is great. Very user friendly

I bought this computer to use in my home office. So far I’m very pleased. It’s fast and efficient. I’m still learning Windows 10 and the newest Office suite but that’s part of it.

I love the touch screen capabilities and the speed is so fast it makes working on it a pleasure

The computer hardly takes any room. Love the wide screen and ease of using the pc.

I've saw this thing freezes at the beginning, but now less freezing. Maybe it was still initializing or installing new drivers. So far, its working great.

I was unsure about an all in one. I have a gaming laptop that is very fast. This computer boots up as fast as my gaming laptop and I love the large screen

This desktop AIO is very complete and the quality is high. I've had experiences with several brands of all-in-ones and this product is sharing the top tier. Screen is excellent, audio is very good but had a little buzz from time to time but I think it was some interference because it has not returned. Installation was smooth and easy. I had no need to call support at Best Buy or HP.

One of the best all in one computer that I have ever had. The speed is is what I was looking for plus the added applications. I was able to get everything transferred from the old all in one to the new one, with no problem. A best by for me.
