I don't know what's going on over at HP, but their quality is totally and completely horrible now. By the way, for decades, I was a huge HP fan / very loyal customer. A matter of fact, I have an old, HP laptop that is probably 6 + years old, that still works great. The only problem is, it's getting a little slow. I also have a 2-in-1 that I bought from Best Buy, that is also in great working condition. This go around, I've purchased and returned 2 HP laptops and am about to return a third. I won't be buying another HP. If you're in the market for a new laptop, you should choose a different brand.

Purchased this to replace a desktop. Loved it from the start, but found the screen to be a bit big when using it to surf the web in the recliner, so I purchased the sister model with the 14 inch screen (see my review). I kept this laptop for my family member to use. We love both the 15 inch and 14 inch model HP Pavilion x360!

I got this laptop in the summer of 2017, and everything seemed great. After two or three months I found a spot on my screen, but did not think much of it. After a while, I noticed that not only that one spot moved around the screen but also multiplied! As if that weren't enough, the battery life was getting worse each month. By the summer of 2018, the laptop decided to turn itself off WHILE PLUGGED IN, and it's been like that for months. I am a graduate student and took 9 classes even during the summer, so I was unable to give my computer to the service. Finally, I gave it to Geek Squad in December of 2018, and got it back after a few weeks. I am very disappointed because NOTHING got fixed. True, there are no more spots on my screen, but the touchscreen DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. It SOMETIMES works when I restart the computer. The computer doesn't randomly die while plugged in anymore, but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't die when the battery is at 13% either. Also while buying it there was a pen that worked with it (I played with it in the store), but I decided to not buy it at the time. When I changed my mind about 3 months later and wanted to get it, no one in Best Buy was able to find me a pen that worked with this computer!!! I've had big problems with HP before, and after this time, I will never get it again. It really is not worth the money. Now I'll have to figure out how to be a grad student without a computer for who knows how long, because I've been told to ship it again. It really is not worth it, so please save yourself the trouble and don't get HP. They are great at first, but get terrible after a short time. [Another HP we've had, it's hard drive shut down completely ONE DAY AFTER WARRANTY ENDED, was not overused or abused in any way.] Really not worth it.
