Awsome PDP Mirrors Edge Catalyst Controller design

This controller feels very sturdy and has a very similar feel to the classic wireless controllers. I wanted a wired one for when it was just one person playing, so that we didn't go through so many batteries. The 10 foot cable is a perfect length and it detaches so that if someone trips over it you won't get a broken USB port. The programmable buttons on the bottom act as duplicates of any of the other buttons, so you can have the pad controllers at your fingertips as well as all the other buttons. It's very easy to program them, too. I got it on sale, so it was an even better deal.

The grips on this controller feels amazing and the look is so clean. Sits comfortably in my hand and responds quickly. The only thing I can say is a little weird are the extra buttons in the back of the controller but they do come in hand sometimes. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking for a controller

I have been known to run through a battery from time to time during a marathon gaming session so this corded model is nice to have. The wife is a big fan of Mirror's Edge so there was no contest on which to buy. The cord could be a tiny bit longer (hence the 4 stars) but we do have our seating quite far from the console because of the size of our tv, but it is quite long and I'm sure that won't be a problem for most. The controller itself feels very solid and it has the same response as all the non-wired we own. There is a rubbery but smooth coating that makes it feel very nice. Haven't had any disconnecting of the cable and it seems like it's secure. All in all we are very happy with this so far.

Overall on this battlefield controller its a great buy if your looking a wired controller. The build and feel is nice, really soft grips due too the wood grain. The wire and port on the controller is the best, the wire will last a while since its braided but because how the controller secures the wire in place!

I bought a wired controller so I won't keep buying batteries, and BF1 controller is smooth in your hands I can play for hours with it.

We own two of these and my teenage son and I use them for playing Battlefield 1. Somewhere along the way millennials apparently evolved to have lightning fast reaction time and have ultimate control over unique and varied hand/finger movements that Gen X'ers never had. I purchased the first unit we have to try and give me a bit of an advantage with the "triggers" underneath the controller. To be perfectly honest, it probably only enhances my game by about 10-15% but I do like having them and do use them consistently. The controller is ultra easy to program and can even be done during a respawn if need be. The game and chat volume controls right on the controller are also a bonus. I use them every time I play. The triggers underneath can each be mapped to three different options of your choosing. I've kept it super simple and just mapped one to each - left and right D-pad. I use the downward rotation of the trigger as my selection as it feels the most intuitive to me. An issue that has arisen over the past month of ownership however, is that the left hand trigger under the controller doesn't respond 100% of the time. I have it set to my Left D-pad control and easily 80% of the time it doesn't respond. It feels like it's a mechanical issue because if I push it down reasonably hard it seems to work better. My sons controller is essentially setup the same way it works flawlessly. Plus, his game skills are a hundred times better than mine... My issue may just be a fluke. It's a good product with cool styling, comfortable soft-to-the-touch grips and a solid corded connection. If PDP releases a wireless option of a comparable controller that can be confirmed to not have the issue I've experienced, I would definitely purchase it. For now, if you're a Battlefield 1 fan this is a decent buy and worth getting.

This controller is great. The design and the feel of it is awesome.

The controller has a nice, sturdy construction. The controller feel responsive and the connection wire is long. Everything a boy could ask for In his Xbox controller.

Works great and love the design and the price was reasonable

The controller and all the functions are great. the only problem is that the multi-function wheels tend to wear out rather quickly if you use them a lot. be sure to buy the extra warranty for that reason, but other than that it is awesome.

This controller is awesome. The first time I played with it, the triggers were a little sticky but I haven't experienced that since the very first time.
