Was not willing to buy another TV stand with a mount for my new 60 inch tv when I had a perfectly good TV stand. The TV was for kids so my biggest concern was my kids tipping it over. Assembly was required and it depends on the thickness of whatever you are putting to TV on- their is a max thickness for the largest bracket and I barely made it. The screws for the mount to back of the TV came in different size that is recommended. The screws I used ended up having a little play but once I tightened down the entire bracket the tv is firmly secure. Requires you to use the stand that originally comes with the TV but it is very sleek and unnoticeable.

Very stable and easy to install. It comes with several attachments for different size tables.

The tv stabilizer is a must-have safety device. The leg design of the Samsung tv just purchased makes it easy to tip over. So the anti-tip rod is needed for safety purposes.

Easy remedy to secure flat screen. Very simple install, without having to secure to the wall, even though you do have the option.

Like this to prevent the tv from tipping over. Most others are just a strap, this is a rod that attaches from the tv to the back of furniture.

The safety kit makes sure the TV can't tip forward or backward is perfect and offers stability to the TV and peace-of-mind that wouldn't be accidental tipping when moving the cabinet. I used the larger bracket part that goes around the 1" thick shelf and then mounting screw holds the rod (which is adjusted, with a set screw). When I read the instructions, I deviated from the sequence of steps. Put together the top portion with the bar and rod but did not tighten down set screw and then put together base. Attached to shelf and then to the TV and then tighten the set screw last (on the rod). It was easier for me to adjust and gauge the distance of the shelf bracket base to the two holes mounted to the back of the TV. Glad I bought this instead of the strap to stabilize the TV. The 40" Samsung TV, with the bracket rod assembly, it is really safe from tip over.

Since my cats knocked down lcd tv ,i got 2 of these . this product is very useful.

Bought this tv stand and it works like a charm. Would Deff get another for the Den tv

What can I say it gets the job done. Holds the tv in place like it says so my sons won't knock the tv down.

Picture made me think that there was a platform incuded. Not so. And can not work inside a tv cabinet

I purchased a swivel base for my TV - that negated the need for this product - If I had needed it it looked like it would have done the trick but the base attached to my TV is far heavier than the TV and it isn't going anywhere.

I have heard stories of TVs falling on kids, this is a great product to prevent death or injury to young children. Everyone with kids should have this Stabilis Home Safety Kit!!!!
