I may be biased but this release is worth it. Lengthy but I swear you wont mind. Faster, smoother and full of all available dlc. If you enjoy JRPG, slice of life story elements, catchy music and anime then this game is for you.

If you missed/skipped persona 5 royal on PS4 then definitely get it for PS5! What are you waiting for? If you're looking for an awesome JRPG that's going to keep you engaged for the entire game, then buy this now! Already comes with all the dlc's so no need to buy those separately, and also they upgraded the framerate to 60, and added various game mechanics to further enchance gameplay! A cast of great characters, challenging battles, very cool looking visuals, and fun sim like school/life and relationship model to balance with. If you want a cool engaging rpg to play, this is it!

Very cool turn based jrpg. Proably best persona out there.

2nd best game of all time. Incredible music, great story, great combat, best art style of all time. Only game that tops it is the 1997 FF VII on ps1.

Excellent game. Very long also, so far I’ve put over 100 hours in and it’s still not boring.

This is one of the best games on the consuls. If you like Japanese role-playing games, you should definitely play this.

One of the best action jrpg game ever made 100 hours of gameplay ..being a teenage hero saving the world!! Even if your not a fan of turn base jrpgs this game is worth the try, you wont regret it!!

Game came broken. Not playable. Was on the phone for over an hour with best buy, hold after hold. Transfer after transfer. Only solution was to go to the local store which was a 40 minute drive. To still not end up with a working game copy, and needing a new one shipped out. Game is still not here. Can not atest to how well the game is, but can atest to the process and policy being terrible, and customer service taking hours of your time to get a resolution if an issue does arise.

Must cop for the PS5. One of the greatest games of all time.

Very good game, if you like JRPG you should try it

Gameplay is on point, story is amazing, and the pacing is brilliant. And this is the complete edition - so this includes the DLC and all revisions they've made to the original. The version on PS+ is not the royal edition. Definitely a great buy!

Buy only when on sale! Better graphics than the PS4 version. Still the same story line. Same game as PS4 version, nothing new. If you can get the PS4 version at a lower price, collect that version instead until price for the PS5 version comes down. It is a shame that these software companies do not offer anything new in the PS5 version but feel entitle to charge a exorbitant high price. If you're lucky to get it at $19.99 when in sale go ahead and get it, otherwise get the PS4 version which plays on both consoles PS4 & PS5. I am not reviewing the game because there are excellent reviews out there in the internet and YouTube. The game always rate up in the best 10 for any console.

Make no mistake, this is as barebones as ATLAS could get. 60fps and higher resolution is nice, but the lazy dumping of DLC items on you (including a large sum of starting money and healing items) and lack of other enhanced features is a bit disappointing. However, this is a great value if you've never played the game (maybe wait for a sale though).

Great RPG. Love this game however probably not worth it if you played the Vanilla Persona 5. Must dedicate a lot of time but great experience.

While I’m sure many people who have a PS5 and are a fan of Persona 5 Royal have the PS4 version already, I will say the PS5 version is a worthwhile purchase if you’re looking to replay the game and are looking for a smoother 60 fps gameplay experience (no 120 fps support unfortunately but is not a deal breaker). I bought this port at the time on sale for $39.99 and is well worth the price for what you’re getting if you can get the game at this price for the PS5.

Awesome game! Nice upgrade from ps4 version, has a 60fps mode now. Definitely needed!
