This is my second one and both work great. Fast response to color changes and smooth too. This second one I purchased is refurbished and no issues yet. Love it for portable ambient scenes.

The Hue lights are the best I've tried others an they can't do Red or green these can.

Wasn't sure how would compair to hue light bar, but overall satisfied that the globe is more visually appealing

Looks great and I like that you can unplug it and bring it with you. However, once unplugged it doesn't seem to respond to the Hue bridge and remote control the next time you want to control the lights.

Love this light. I have the phillips hue set sync lights and bridge set up and this definitely is a bonus

Great lamp. Best feature is that it is portable as it has its own battery. It's nice that a lamp can change colors and brightness with an app. I have yet to add the Phillips switch to make it easier to use. Bought if for a nursery and being able to change the colors makes it useful for changing the mood of the room. It's a bit over-priced, but that's expected with the Phillips light products. There are some issues to consider. Problems: It's hard to turn on manually (the on switch is on the back, which is inconvenient). Turning it on can also move the lamp, so you have to stabilize the lamp while pushing the button. Brightness could be better. It'd be great if it was about 50% brighter.

Nice lamp for taking anywhere, since it has a rechargeable battery. Can of course be left plugged in, but is perfect for going outside or to an area where an AC outlet isn't available. Connects to either a Hue Hub or via bluetooth to an App on your phone, but can also be turned on and cycled through a handful of light types via a button on the bottom of the lamp. Great price for a smart lamp that can go anywhere with its built-in rechargeable battery!

Wanted a subtle light that creates ambiance for the nursery. This was a simple addition to create just the right 'glow' in the room. And I can see how much fun it will be for future storytime moments.

Purchased this as an additional light for my Hue lighting system. This light is rechargeable and can be placed in most places without being plugged in. It can be used as an accent light, lighting for dark hallways, etc. The bulbs are a bit pricey but they are reliable.

I have a lot of hue lights. This one lights just as well as the others.

I have two of these now and they're great for providing a touch of personality to any room, or even outdoors. Their internal battery isn't massive, but definitely sufficient for a few hours of entertaining.
