As with all of the other Hue products, I'm a fan. I find the price of the single Bloom bulbs a bit much. But the starter pack that comes with two Blooms and the wifi hub is a better deal for what you get vs. price, in my opinion. Perfect Hue uplight-style for corners of rooms, or used in pairs for dramatic wall effects.

My house has a lot of Hue white bulbs, but my color bulbs are mostly confined to the living room (4 A19s and now the Bloom). The Bloom acts as bias lighting behind the TV. My daughter and I have set up the 5 color lights in scenes for various Disney princesses, superheroes, holidays, etc. The Bloom is a nice looking uplight that feels substantially constructed. It looks good enough to sit on a table without being an eyesore. I have used a zip tie to affix it to the upper back of the TV and project the light just above the screen. The retail price is a little steep, but when I saw it go on sale, I pulled the trigger. I'm very happy I did.

I had purchased the regular Hue lightbulbs that change color and decided I would get the Bloom. The bloom works as a great up light, or even a backlight behind the TV or plants that I have in my home. It is a great way to add color to a room. With all the color choices, it truly can set the moode in a room.

We used this bloom lamp to light up the wall behind the TV and with all the lights turned off, it does a pretty good job of adding background lighting. Not super bright but it does the job. The color ranges are very nice to have. And super easy to setup. Would recommend!

This was a gift for my girlfriend, but she really likes it. The biggest problem with hue products is the reliance on the control unit that you have to connect to a wifi router. My gorlfriends cat chewed through the power cord and tried to get a replacement from Phillips but was told you cannot buy replacement cords. Therefore, we have to buy an entirely new starter kit for $200. That's right, you can't even get a replacement cord from RadioShack. The cord is so specialized that you cannot find one anywhere...except for online, you can get a cord from China that you have to wire up yourself. Pretty ridiculous. Other than that, it is a cool concept.

This is one of the newer light that Phillips has come out to market with at this time. We have it in the bedroom where it help to easy the evening to help get ready for bed for the evening. You are able to control this with your IOS/Android device for easy of use.

I currently only use this as a lamp for my room, it's just that bright if you can get this on sale then do it. There's just so many cool accents you can do with this device unless you want something specific then I'd recommend this

You cannot use this light without a Phillips smart hub. I fortunately already had that. Set up was pretty simple. Once you download the app and complete the set up you can pick any colors you can imagine and adjust brightness to your liking. I would give it a five star review if it were more clear on the box that the hub was needed. Even though I had already read up before purchasing I’m sure someone will buy this and get frustrated when they get home and realize they have to make a trip back to the store.

This is a perfect compliment to the hue bulbs. I do think this size is a bit smaller once removed from the package; however, the light effects do just fine. This is a perfect compliment to a hue system to adjusting for mood lighting.

This Hue Bloom works as advertised. I have it behind my TV to help set the mood for movies, ect and it also works well worth Halloween and Christmas apps! Very happy for the first three months I've owned it.

The Bloom Accent Light was easy to add to my Hue bridge. So far we are actually using more on its own vs. as part of scenes with the other lights. It does a great job of providing interesting accent lighting in the room.

I didn't want to watch TV completely in the dark so I purchased 2 of these to provide some uplighting behind my TV and it bounces light off the wall. It's great that I can customize the color and intensity individually or combined. I can have them be the same color or 2 different colors. It works well with the HomeKit and my Echo devices.

I have 2 of these now. They are exceptional. You can tuck them into little spaces and hide them, where they are barely noticeable. But you still get the great lighting and ambience..Big fan...

Nobody *needs* a light like this, but it is a fun toy if you like to play with mood lighting. It was easy to set up, and I have it hooked up to several IFTTT recipes. It's not for use as a main light, though.

This light has made my scenes perfect with just the right amount of extra shades. Transitions from light to light look cleaner and less broken up. Would recommend to anyone to try.

This is a great addition to the Phillips Hue light portfolio. Great for using in rooms with spaces that have limited outlets as this light projects it’s colors where you want it.

Purchased two of these to be used on bedside tables. Overall they are great lights, the colors add ambiance and really provide a calm and inviting environment. The integration with Apple Homekit and the built-in Hue App scenes and automations all work very well. My only wishlist item for these would be that they would be a little bit brighter. On max brightness, even on a white color setting, and having two of them in the room, it's still a little too dark to be considered a true "table lamp replacement". I know this is not their primary purpose, so I would not consider this a flaw; just something I would like in an ideal world.

This light is great for projecting hues in rooms or onto walls where you have limited outlets and no light fixtures to attach bulbs. A little on the expensive side but very cool.

The Hue Bloom is a great accent light. With it's ability to change to literally millions of colors, coupled with it's ease of set-up and use, this light is great for behind the TV, to highlight a favorite piece of artwork, or even to light up a plant. Couple all of that with the ability to link it and control it with Amazon's Echo devices, and this is definitely the accent light that you are looking for ,
