Pros: - Can do all the colors plus all shades of white - Slim profile makes it good for under or over cabinet lighting - Transformer has long cord so you can tuck it away out of sight - Can add on extension strips to create a nice sized run Cons: - Still expensive - No extension cords or wires available to go between light strips (you can't a section without light, like if you have a stove in the way or are trying to put it on different shelves of a bookcase) - If you turn it off with the App, you can't turn it back on with the switch

So much fun to have in my basement bar. Had to use Scotch mounting tape for installation under granite bar as the adhesive on the strips wasn't quite strong enough for my application. Overall easy project and great addition to other Hue bulbs I've got in the house. Don't hesitate to buy to buy this product. Given the expensive price of one of these LED strips, I still recommend them to everyone that is looking for quality lighting. I currently have one of these lighting up my entire closet, they are super bright and pretty flexible so you can put them anywhere. One small issue I have a gripe about is the double sided tape isn't that great depending what you are trying to stick it to, so I ended up using my own 3m double sided tape from home depot.

We have several Philips lights that change color, and this last year i augmented with a strip and a plain dimmable bulb. The plain bulb was boring and now i know why it was only $20. The strip, however is really fun. Super easy install, and it joins the bridge super fast. The strip is VERY bright and vivid colored. More so than the floods! Go for it- LEDs are cheap to run and the strip is inexpensive compared to the floodlights. Now to find an app for timing with music!

I highly recommend this product. Easy install and looks amazing in my kitchen and living room. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 stars was the fact that the strip was a little short. I had to buy 4 additional extensions and got a little costly for me. Other than that, this is the best one out in the market today.

this lightstrip is installed behind my TV. make sure you clean the TV good before sticking it because it will only stick once. I made the mistake of sticking mine to the wall facing the TV, but the light didn't reflect well...so I re-stuck it to the TV. This reflected much better, but it doesn't stick as well the second time. I had to use command clips. These are programmable lights that work with Phillips hue bridge. the bridge can handle up to 50 lights. the bridge is sold separately and is necessary in order to operate the light strip. the bridge works through your homes wifi. This light strip is very bright and looks amazing. just make sure you know for sure where you want it because it will only stick once.

This lightstrip lights up my entire kitchen, it's the best of the best in hue lights, and when I purchase from best buy the associates are helpful and honest with me, they don't encourage me to buy something just to make a commission, I love their honesty!!! I still have not received ANY best buy points for all the things I've bought so I do hope this gets resolved

I have Philips Hue products all over the home. I have purchased multiple light strips. Two have gone behind the TV's in the house as a backlight. This looks absolutely beautiful and many friends end up purchasing Hue lights to replicate my setup at home. I also have a hue light strip on top of a cabinet facing upwards as a mood lighting. Product works exactly as described and fantastically.

After integrating my house with Hue bulbs. I was more inclined to get these light strips. They have been placed on the back of my two flat screens. They were easy to install and since i already had hue bridge, the implementation was seamless. these lights and the scenes add a whole new viewing experience to my man cave and living room. great purchase!

Love Phillips hue products, this one included! We put this up in our closet where the track is for the doors and it lets us see our dark closet so much better! Plus is creates great ambiance as we typically have it as different colors. We took down the drab sliding closet doors and put up curtains which the colored lights POP against. It looks great!

This blends well with the 3rd Gen Hue Lighting system that I purchased concurrently - this product offers additional enhancements to almost any room. The interface with the light strip plus to your Hue Bridge (and subsequent compatibility with Echo, Dot, Siri or Google Home) was easy to set up and synch together. The only drawback that kept me from providing a 5 star rating was the adhesive tape on the strip itself - for some of my intended locations, the adhesive wasn't strong enough so I was forced to rest the strips on a balcony facing upwards, as opposed to lining my cabinets to face downwards. That didn't affect the overall ambience (it actually seemed to enhance it), but buyers should be aware that the adhesive isn't as durable as you may think.

I was a bit hesitant to get this at first, wasn't sure if it was going to work the way I wanted. But I don't regret getting this. Our apartment bedroom doesn't have a ceiling light so lighting was a bit tricky, stuck this light along the wall near the ceiling and it works perfectly not to mention that you can add more to the strip!

I bought these light strips to create some nice lighting for my media cabinet. They work great! It took about 15 minutes to install. Make sure you measure correctly! Another five minutes to program them into the Hue system and I was set to go. It gets a little tricky if you try to integrate the strips into the Amazon Echo, but it's possible.

I have always wanted to have lights underneath my kitchen cabinets. When I saw these, I thought why not? They were simple to install and the functions are amazing! We can set them to any color we like and have them connected to our favorite sports team! The only drawback is that if you cut the strip to fit you can't use the cut piece. I also dont like that the strips have to be plugged in. I will have to hide the plug with something!

Very easy to set up, install and use. Make sure you have a Hue Bridge to connect them to and control them, otherwise you won't be able to change the colors. I put mine behind my television and they make night time TV watching easier on my eyes and more relaxing

The Hue Light strip is an awesome addition to the hue bulb setup in my home...It fits perfectly behind the living room couch and the ability to dim it to different settings from watching TV to table game playing. Completely controllable by voice using my connected Google home and the colors are endless

This product is close to perfect for under cabinet lighting. Amazing color and ease of use for this price point. Only need I have to complete the perfect under cabinet lighting system is a extension wire with no lights. This would allow me to use the 3 meter extension to light an entire kitchen with one transformer.

This kit is great to add a light strip under kitchen cupboards, or in a display case. It has adhesive tape so you can stick it anywhere. With the app on your phone, you can control intensity and color as you please, and it integrates with Apple Homekit for control via Siri. I'm pretty sure you could use Alexa as well, but I don't use that. Remember, this only works if you already have a HUE Hub !
