Lights themselves are great — five stars in that category. Con: Mounting via adhesive backing seemed ineffective. However, cable ties + mounting bases are a cheap and effective alternative. Product gets dinged for not having a great mounting system out of the box. Other things to think about: Consider carefully what surface you will be illuminating. This looks great against a matte finish, like say drywall. If you are lighting a somewhat reflective surface, then you might get an undesirable Christmas tree light effect. In my case, I had to position these very carefully so as not to see this effect off my high gloss floors.

I bought the strip kit and bought this extension for the extra length. There was absolutely no issues connecting it to the hub. This is a great product that I highly recommended.

The hue light strip plus extension easy attaches to and works with the hue lightstrip plus. I installed them under kitchen counter cabinets and they work and look great

Installation of these strips is so simple and adds so much to my Hue lighting system. Any color any time. I've purchased two whole sets and one extension and plan on buying more.

This is one of the best things i have bough. Makes movies,games ,rooms etc better. Defenetely recommend it and they have a lot of third parties apps for iphones and androids.

I use these lights for subtle accent lighting and they are really cool. Works well with Apple products. Love it and I’ll keep buying Phillips hue lights.

You need to use these extensions to at any length to the 6.6 kit. You cannot connect 2 6.6 kits together. Does what it says. I have 6 of these connected together. Works flawlessly.

The light works very well. Super easy to set up, and reliable.

I bought a few of these along with a full set. Very easy to use and setup. The adhesive isn't the best, and I had to use thumb tacks to supplement it in a few areas.

The best option to add some colors behind your tv screen, and easy to use along with the hue app or paired along with an alexa device

I have these lights around the sides of our movie screen and use them with the hue sync box. Watching movies is so cool now.

Extensions are necessary if you want to cover any significant length. As with all Hue products to expensive unless you find them on sale. Easy to install and are nice and easy for under kitchen cabinets.

Used this product for extending the base light for longer length of multi color and works great to decorate the wall corners and cabinets

If your into the Philips hue lights and have the lightstrip+, this is a great addition. The lights aren't cheap, but nothing else comes close.

Works seamlessly. Only grips are I wish the light strip was 2-meters, or priced a little less. But they provide nice colors, and will work great for accent lighting and for an infinity mirror tabletop.

I had installed the first generation of the base light strip product in my daughter's room and I was more than surprised to see how much brighter this second generation is. This time I was replacing an earlier light strip by a different manufacturer that was having some issues, and I was very pleased to have to run only one strip not two. I was a bit skeptical about the backing adhesive, but it seems to be holding fine. The only real issue is extension jumpers - had to make my own. There are several videos online for how to do this, and ti worked just fine.

Easy set up. But after 4 months the double sided tape started to come off. Just taped it to the tv. I had to get 2 boxes.

Perfect if you need a little extra length on your Phillips hue light strip. Very easy to connect and sync. Colors match up perfectly to the others in the spectrum is quite broad and more vivid.

the Extension is about 40 inches long.. Very ez to Add on. They work in unison of my main strip. No programming was needed.
