While the second generation hue light strip is a huge improvement the extension did work for me. The place where it connected doesn't bend as well as the rest of the strip so it cause an issue where I was trying to install it.

These light strips are the perfect addition to my sewing room. I mounted them under the shelves above where my machines are and they give off a perfect light for when I’m sewing. I’m going to get another strip to mount under the shelf over my ironing board. Based on my experience, I’d say they would work well in a kitchen or any workshop where you need direct light.

A little bit pricy, but worth it if you already have the hue light strip and need it to be a little bit longer.

It will extend your hue lights strip without noticing any separation in the strip lighting effects. Great for long jobs like counter and shelves,

I have added this extension to two existing Hue LIghtstrips. I still love the lumen output and color control via the App, and installation and setup was a snap. I do wish that connector cables to put a few feet between Lightstrip and the Extension were available from Phillips. I had to go find third party products, but they worked well.

It's hard to review this product on its own mainly because this is an extension light strip, and cannot function by itself without the main lightstrip. As an extension strip, however, it is flawless and just works. Just connect it to the main lightstrip and you're all set. Connecting is very easy, and once connected, one cannot tell where the main light strip ends, and where the extension begins. There is also no color difference or degradation, and color hues remain consistent all throughout the entire system. I wish it could have been longer though. If you intend to light up a bigger space, I anticipate you would end buying 2 to 3 of these, and the costs can quickly add up.

With the Philips Hue lightstrip, it not only complements the room lighting, it actually takes centerpiece attraction with its vast range of colors and all via the Alexa app. I also will have it installed at the back of my new TV by the Geek Squad to create an ambient mood weather watching movies or having just music playing.

Just like main strip this plugs right in no issues and works like a champ. 4/5 due to price and length of extension.

This was extremely easy to connect to existing setup, not easy to conform, and 3M glue not the best.

This product I highly recommend, but only issue I had was that it’s a little shorter than I expected and the connector is like 3 inches. Meaning you have a light gap and gives a shadow, in my case, when I installed behind the TV. Other than that, it’s the best strip and easy install in the market. Thanks

I bought four of these to get a full 20 feet light strip for my stair rail. I had already previously owned another light strip that I use as an accent light and it works perfectly. I did have to order these a few times because of supply issues. They are great buys so are always out of stock.

A favorite in our house & we just can’t get enough of these hue lights! Excellent smartphone access & works perfect via google home.

What a difference under-cabinet lighting makes! Not only does it create better conditions for a kitchen workspace, but as accent lighting, they really add a richness to the entire room. And because they are LED, I don’t have the concern of using so much energy! Oh, and did I mention the options? Brightness, nightlight, colors... These lights are awesome!

Purchased two of these extension kits to add some additional length to my current hue strip. It was very easy to install these kits as they simple attach one end to the other. Once installed, no additional adjustments or setup is required, Just load up your favorite hue app and let the light flood your living space!
