Colors not so good, go for next gen (gen 3) for more realistic and vibrant colors. Still works ok.

I am addicted to Philips Hue lighting! The only caveat is that they are not necessarily the cheapest and there are other alternatives in the market. However, you cannot go wrong with this product in the Phillips hue line. The interface is easy to use and reliable - 100% recommend if you have the money!

I added this to my kitchen/above sink in addition to a bunch of A19 bulbs I have throughout the house -- worked as a great replacement to a CFL bulb I was using and now I have color in the kitchen as well. Good product, easy to set up and maintain.

Phillips hue lights are really easy to set up and these are no different. Very bright with lots of colors to play around with. I got these half price so the value is good. I would not pay $50 for one bulb. Even $25 is a little high but I'm happy with it.

Lights work good and are bright, last quite a while too. Only downside is you have to have the bridge for you to unlock its true potential colors and smart home use

As other people have pointed out, these bulbs are not as good as the first gen ones. The colors are vivid and bright, but they just don’t seem to have the range that the older ones had. I have these in my kitchen, as I wanted a more white light. Being photophobic (certain color spectrum lights can hurt my eyes for prolonged times, and even some can cause headaches in a very short amount of time of exposure), color changing bulbs are a godsend, especially when I am cooking dinner or whatever. I just wish that I could tweak the colors like I do on my old ones, which are in my bedroom. I got these on a deal of the day, 1/2 price special, so I cannot complain too much. However, I would have to think twice about buying them at full price. Pros are that they are color changing and I can control them with Siri. Cons, see above.

Great smart home bulb, especially if purchased on sale! Nice colors, great connectivity to the Philips hub.

What I like about it, I like being able to change the colors on it. One con (for me personally), the ray is very narrow and focused. Other than that I like the product.

Love hue lights. They work reliably and integrate with about everything. They are expensive which is the only downside.

It’s pretty cool and you can use it to help wake you up in the morning and set schedules to pretend you are home when you aren’t. The color spectrum is neat but not much more than a novelty, though I’m sure kids and early teens might get a kick out of it. A sales associate told me that a Google Home can control it but a Google Home Mini (which I have) cannot, which seems strange, so I had to purchase a Philips Hue Bridge and I have to control it from the Hue app, separately from my GE-C lights. So keep that in mind.

Bought 6 of these when they were on the daily deal. They were half price, easy setup when connecting to the hub.

When I purchased these lights I knew what I was getting having purchased hue lights in the past. Boy was I wrong. These are better than expected. My first foray into colored hue lights is a happy one. Better than I expected. The combination of things you can program are endless. If you’ve been on the fence about getting these lights, GO GET THEM!! You will not be disappointed.

Bought these during a daily special deal. However didn't realize that they were generation 2 and not generation 3. Seems like the Gen 3 bulbs are a little brighter, but the cost on these were substantially less. Had no problem pairing them (as usual have not had any issues with pairing Philips Hue products to the bridge)

I use one light for over my sink and the other in the garage. The sink light is programmed for when I am in the house. The garage light is bright enough to illuminate the garage and soft enough to not attract bugs. What an awesome light that can be used with multiple colors and purposes.

I wish they were less expensive and buy them when they are on sale. However, as a homeowner with six Amazon Alexa's installed in my house, these lights are a must. I use routines when I am not home and voice control when I am home. These offer great light and functionality.

This is my 4th BR30 bulb purchased. I absolutely love them. Not only the color changing, but the different shades of white. If you have tried Phillips Hue yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s a whole new world of lighting.

Continuing my goal of colored lights all around my home. This was a good add on for sure. Outside of the house can be any color I want according to holiday or even NFL schedule!

I have about 20 Phillip’s hue lights around the house, bought a few different type of smart lights and threw those out. Hue just has the easiest setup. They just work.
