    This is a great personal dvd player.! Picture is clear and the sound is very good. Excellent if you use headphones.

    The items needs a few improvements. I was disappointed that I was not able to select what I wanted to watch when the movie menu came up. I enjoy watching TV shows on DVD, however, I was not able to pick the episode I wanted to watch. In order to go to the next episode I had to go through the entire first show to get to the third or fourth episode. I also experienced the DVD player freeze up when returning to the disc menu. The buttons on this player look like they will break if pushed to hard. The only thing I liked about it is that it was very light weight. I returned it for a better product.

    THe dvd was in good condition for a refurbished device. No issues and easy to operate. Did have a small screen and could only be used on the charger. But, other than that it works fine.

    Looks and performs like it was brand new. My kids are very tough on these, so this is my 3rd portable one in 2 years. My first Phillips. Well made and sturdy enough for my 3 year old to use.
