Takes the best aspects of the previous games and puts it all together. If you enjoyed the first 3, it's a must play. If you've never played a Pikmin game, it's definitely worth checking out.
My only complaint with this game is that there is a lot of handholding in the beginning, and some of the character's interruptions during gameplay can be annoying. Everything else is fantastic though. If they added a patch to reduce this then it would be perfect.
Graphics - Looks great on the switch, tons of attention to detail. They did a good job of making you feel small in a big world.
Sound - Music and sound design are on point. I love how different enemies make the map's music change tones, and the drum line boss theme slaps.
Gameplay - It's Pikmin but more streamlined. It's easier to form a squad than before, and Oatchi can help with some of the more tedious aspects of the game like gathering idle Pikmin for you. The aiming mechanic is vastly improved over older games. Also, you get access to different items like multiple types of bombs, so the player gets more tools to mess with. I also like that they included the underground tunnels from Pikmin 2.
Multiplayer - Kinda lacking. There is "co-op" but player 2 justs shoots pebbles at enemies. I want to say the dandori battles are 2 player but I'm not sure.
Replay value - Haven't beaten the game so it remains to be seen. You can repeat the dandori battles to improve your score, but beyond that I'm not sure. I would imagine that there will be DLC for this game.

I've become a big fan of Pimin after playing 3, and I wanted more when they teased a fourth entry that seemed like it would never arrive, until now.
10 years after Pikmin 3, the long-awaited sequel has finally come, and it feels like a true evolution of the series in every possible way. Not only do we see the return of all Pikmin types, including two new ones, but the environments are stunningly gorgeous, which we can view from all angles, from top to bottom, to truly appreciate them. The cave challenges from Pikmin 2 return, and they're a blast to go through each one and take on their massive bosses.
Also, for the first time in the series, we get to embark on night-time missions where we engage in intense tower defense challenges with the Glow Pikmin that tests your organization skills.
Best of all is our new dog partner, Oatchi, who helps us on our journey and adds a new layer of gameplay. Plus, he is a very good boy indeed!
Pikmin 4 is a game worth waiting 10 years for since the initial teasers. So for veterans and newcomers alike, this is a must-own for your Switch library.

pikmin is one of my favorite games ever. You are a small alien crash landed on a familiar but larger planet in hopes of rescuing your crew as well as other castaways from other ships. You come across little creatures called pikmin that you can control to carry items, fight enemies, and fix/destroy obstacles in your path to reach your goal. Pikmin have different colors and abilities such as red cannot be burned. You make more pikmin by bringing material to their nest with the color of pikmin you want more of. Each day has a time limit so it is best to be efficient and plan your moves accordingly. Very fun game

Pikmin is so much fun. You are able to customize your character and level up like an RPG. The game has a mode where you can rewind time if you make mistakes so it is very good for kids.

I bought this game on sale for $40 and I like the game so far. I think the game is worth spending $60 but I recommend waiting for a sale. And if anyone wants to try this game for free, there is a free demo you can download on the Nintendo E-Shop.

Pikmin 4 is a soft reboot to the series, changing the way pikmin is played. It is even easier for people to pick up and enjoy what Nintendo has to offer in this title as it's the easiest in the series.
The 3 Pikmin type limit also simplifies your journey as you don't need to manage all 8 types at once.
Overall this game is a must have for any pikmin fan or anyone willing to try the series.

It's been more than 5 years since Pikmin 4 was mentioned as being "finished" and whatever polish they added to the title was worth the wait! The gameplay is much smoother and the Pikmin (+ Oatchi!) control great, especially with all the new abilities allowed with the additional charatcers. Would recommend to anyone who wants a different style of RTS / Strategy / Puzzle / Adventure....in SPACE~

Well I knew that I loved this series. This game did not disappoint, there are a lot of references to the previous games but you don't necessarily need to play the others to to understand this one or to enjoy it. Will certainly be buying Pikmin 5 when it comes out in another 10 years lol. You can also get Pikmin 3 as well, attaching a photo of 3 for you to see as well.

Excellent game and excellent delivery time.
When nobody had this game in stock, one of the Best Buy employees ordered a copy to my home. It arrived early and in great shape.
That game is soooo much fun. I can't get enough of the beautiful environments, creatures, music, and of course the Pikmin!

Pikmin 4 is possibly the best Pikmin game and is one of the best games on the switch. It has a very unique play style but is friendly to new players. Pikmin 4 adds a lot to the game series like dandori battles and upgrades for your suit and pup. This is the kind of game you fall in love with. 10/10

It’s a Pikmin game, of course it’s fun. The game has a ton of places to explore and a ton of treasures to collect. Using Oatchi is also super fun since your whole crew goes with you. Overall, it’s a great game that’s worth your money.
Pikmin is a fun relaxing game with great graphics.

I think Pikmin is a fun, relaxing game with great graphics and great game management graphics where you use Pikmin to collect items, build structures, kill enemies and fight bosses. It’s a fun game with lots of collectibles and a great encyclopedia of items to complete.

Nintendo decided with the 4th pikmin game to appeal to all the fans of the previous entries and also evolve the series forward. Which in my eyes makes it the ultimate Pikmin experience
