Great sound and features

Pioneer speaker connections are always a challenge to get connected but they do hold well. Bought this unit to control speakers inside and outside because it has 2 zones and it works great for that but it was very difficult to figure out how to adjust the configuration to make that happen. I miss the simple speaker A & B on or off button.

Almost has it all

It was a simple set up and all my speakers work great and the wiring was simple. The Automated sound test allowed me to check the function and placement of my speakers for optimal sound experience. I got what I paid for and the price was within my budget. Where it fell short I wish it had the Bluetooth built-in instead of needing an extra external product.

A lot of receiver for the price!

In fact this new 1124 replaced my old VSX-94 in the bedroom HT, and I could not be more happy with it. The new DAC's are amazing, and new MCACC has my room down to inches. It sounds great. To top it off got the unit on sale here at Best Buy, used a 10% off coupon, and Bust Buy credit card X10 points too.

Works excellent!

Setup was straight forward, plenty of inputs and connectivity, and the overall sound is more balanced than the older Denon.
