My beef was it was open box and there was no remote.

Seems easy to use. Easy hook ups out with the old.

A/V receiver has a large range of input types. Everything you could need as of 2015. The feature of A/B speakers is great. We have a speaker system for several rooms in our house attached to the "B" speakers of the receiver. These can be turned off to listen just in the room with our TV. HOWEVER, let me warn you that setting this receiver up is not for the faint hearted or the impatient. It took me a full week of reading the manual online and adjusting the settings to get the surround sound speakers to do what I wanted. Basicaly I wanted sound out of all 5 speakers all of the time. This system seemed to put the greatest volume on the "front" speakers regardless which audio setting you choose, I gave up on the auto adjustment for the speakers and just kept changing the settings for "each" speaker. Once all is in place it is a great system.

Really enjoy the real sound I get from my Bose surround and JBL sub.At low levels I can adjust the surround type I want and have no trouble hearing the dialogue. The Pioneer just out performs the Harmon/Kardon it replaced.

The receiver has a lot to offer but the normal 599 price is a bit high. I got it on sale for 349 which isuch better. The HDMI pass through is very slow and I had one channel stop working after about a month.

Nice receiver with a decent array of built-in features as well as providing plenty of power for most home theater speaker systems.

Needed something that all the games , DVD , satellite tv and projector tv would hook up to . Play station 3 , Xbox 1 , direct tv , projector , Bluetooth adaptor , wifi -- all HDMI . Use our iPhones to control the system -

I'am very satisfied with this receiver! It works well only thing I had to find out the hard way is the receiver is wi fi ready and needs an extra part which could cost you up to 150.00!

Undecided on which receiver to originally get, but glad we chose this one. Very nice product.

Audio is sometimes lost when TV/Cable channels are rapidly changed. Audio comes back if paused and restored, or switched to another channel, than switched back..

Full range sound and lots of watt power. Easy display controls . I also love the selection of input and output plugs ion the back side of amplifier. The real life sound experience really adds a powerful to my movies. I really enjoy the high def crisp surround powerful sound that the amplifier puts out.

I have just gotten this one setup, it has the most functionality I have every seen in a receiver. You will be amazed when you have it completed.

This was purchased to replace and update an old system. It was a breeze to set up and use. Looks good, too. I would recommend this product.

According to other reviews, this receiver is great and I got it at a great price. I haven't hooked it up yet, so we shall see...

Works great. Install was a little tricky because of Zone 2 speskers. Had Geek Squad do install. Very professional and on-time.

Easy setup. I added a Bluetooth adapter so I could connect my Iphone wirelessly and the unit worked beautifully.

I have a surround sound in my living room and the panasonic receiver/amp works great with my bose speakers. The radio works on AM and FM. The blueray for movies sounds really good and my CD's also sound as good. This works much better that the Denon receiver I bought earlier in the year and had to return.

My first receiver was a pioneer and it lasted eighteen years so of course that is what I bought again

I have installed home theaters with my father For B0se and I didn't want to spend the money for a great home theater. I had 7 speakers and a powered sub already so I just wanted to get A GREAT RECEIVER. This one is off the hook. Also with the network adapter you have great control with your smartphone. My family looks forward to movie night always. The option to have 2 subs for stereo is AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A must have unit.
