This is a very disappointing Pioneer product.

I have trusted the Pioneer brand for many years, but these speakers are not what I expected. I cut the leads and installed these speakers without even thinking of trying them first and that was a mistake. They are very disappointing. They have no base response at all and the mid-range is weak. If I had not cut the leads I would have returned them.
