Great unit...easy to function both on Android and Apple OS. Did not like however the inability to utilize the DVD function when out of park.

I bought for my daughters car. She picked it out and is very satisfied.

It started acting up three days after the installment and to top it off pioneer doesn't even have a god program running... Yet it can run one. This purchase was a waste of time and money

I love that I can now use my iPhone in the car with the Bluetooth technology built into this radio 2005 avalanche feels like it's a 2010 avalanche with touchscreen controls on the radio and hands-free calling!!!!

I love my Pioneer - 6.2. The only thing missing is a GPS.

nice unit for the price plenty of features. One thing that would make this a better unit is to make the touch screen easier to use with your nails or a softer touch.

Bought the refurbished model direct from Best Buy. It was marked as excellent condition and when it arrived it looked great. Stated that it was a floor model with no missing parts. Went to install the unit and it would turn on for a moment and them off. Tested a different radio in the car no problem. Had to drive an hour away to return it. Would save the hassle and buy new.

This review may be a little bias because it's more of my issue with product design than functionality. I works like its supposed to work, but the way its supposed to work isn't the best. The screen has pretty lame resolution compared to other similar priced models. The "app mode" is a joke. Also, one this I find really weird is that if you have your ipod connected to the unit and you want to switch to bluetooth audio, you have to completely unplug the ipod. Also, I wish the song search was better, it just gives you a list and you can jump to the first letter, but then you have to scroll from there. Sucks when you have 700 songs that start with 'S' and the one you want is in the middle of the list. Finally, there are a bunch of features that people with android devices can't use because, as per the usual, product development spent all their energy on apple compatibility. Now, on to what I do like. The equalizer and crossover on the unit are pretty darn good for what I have seen with other brands. I also like the fact that it comes Satellite radio ready (though you do still have to buy an adapter). The pandora function works pretty well, though you still have to unplug your ipod in order to use it. All-in-all its a decent radio, I would have just done things a little differently.

I love my new stereo. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't play dvds to the screen. It plays the audio but you would have to get monitors for the passengers. I understand that it's because they don't want you watching the screen while you're driving but it would still be nice if it would play just so I can say I have a dvd player in my car. I guess my next step would be to get monitors for it. But overall I love it. The touch screen works great. It connects to my phone easily via Bluetooth. Pandora plays right on the screen and I can like or dislike songs just by pressing on the screen. It also has a rear aux cable so I can play my ipod which I didn't think it had so I am very happy about that. It says it's only compatible with certain ipod models but it will play all of them if you run the cable out to the front like I did. The only thing I need to figure out now is how to change the background on the screen. That's the only thing I am having trouble with. But overall very easy to use deck. Great price! I got it the day it came out and it was just installed yesterday and there's nothing I'm truly disappointed in. Great sound too but I also have all Kicker speakers and a Kicker amp and sub. Works great!
