Yeah, this purchase was a gift for a friend and so far so good has not been installed but the one that I have this very similar has given me excellent service, but I’m expecting the same with this one

The head unit is useless. 1 it refuses to automatically connect i must manually sel4ct my android phone. Then the display is blsck for over 60 s4conds .. the 7nit then streams jheart rsdio. I selrct xmaudio and it plays both at the dame time. It then says android auto disconnects snd must reboot..i must press thevreboot button on the display. Later it says maestro is disconnected. Goobgle voice commands reply i dint understand.. i try and connect with the usb the displsy says it is the wrong cable. I use the cable with the phone i have trird 4 cablestoo, no success. I sillbgive best buy install 2 more chance .btw the appt took 2vweeks. The screen glare is unreadable. I have tried to set up mirrored apps from my phone . I cant get rumble... i also vought the ilink engine module to see my car paramters. I see nothing.
The tech support people are US trained and profesdional they said take it bsck to BB.

I was sold this radio and the additional parts for my 2016 VW Beetle Dune Edition with a Fender stereo system at the Plymouth Meeting Store. When I arrived at the Willow Grove location for my installation appointment after driving 30 minutes, that was scheduled for about a month later, I was told by the tech that it was the incorrect radio and I would need to pick out a new one for it to work correctly. I wasted my time, both the month waiting for the installation and my morning, because I was put on the spot about a different unit because the team at the Plymouth Meeting Store could not correctly determine if this radio was the correct one for my vehicle. If you do not have an installation bay at a store and do not have employees trained in auto electronics, then you should not be selling those items at the location. I still have a broken radio because I was not about to be pushed into an item without having the time to read reviews and make an informed decision. I would like to know what Best Buy is going to do to make this up to me and keep me as a customer. I will not be going to your store again. DO NOT BUY CAR AUDIO FROM HERE!!!
