I bought these speakers because they were the cheapest brand name 6x9's I could find, but upon setting these speakers up in my car they sounded terrible!!! The cone is made of cheap paper and the surround is made of cheap fabric. Another terrible aspect of this speaker is the length of the wire from the input terminal to the voice coil, if you work the speakers had (for these that's around 30watts) then the wires will pull off of the voice coil, which isn't the worst thing because then you won't have to listen to the terrible sound of the scratching voice coil. I pulled these from my car within a week of buying them, even the no name Walmart 20$ speakers have better sound quality along with a much better build. Save yourself the pain of buying pioneer, they are defiantly not what they used to be.

I read the reviews before i purchased this and the reviews are misleading. This pair of speakers have poor sound quality. They are barely an inprovement to the factory speakers made out of cardboard.
