I was told by the gentleman at thecar stereo area that these would work in a 10 Jeep Wrangler. They do not line up with the screw holes so I took them back.

I expected a better performance of my audio with these speakers

I only have an aftermarket deck pushing these speakers yet they have sufficient volume and clarity. Not wanting to damage them, I didn't max out the volume. - They wouldn't be damaged because of the lack of power handling - the damage to the speakers would come from pushing a distorted signal at volume. I am in college and on a tight budget. The in-store price was $30 more than the price online but a BB manager looked it up on the website at the register and price-matched. Very cool. I needed replacement speakers (the factory speakers were not working) and they suited my needs perfectly. It took longer wrestling with my door panels than it did to install them. Okay, I can't say they're the BEST speakers ever made. But definitely worth the price, especially for a set of 3-ways. I'm sure, like most aftermarket speakers, they would perform much better with an amplifier. But they do have good volume and clarity. They actively respond to slight changes in e.q. settings. I now am able to distinguish the lower and higher bit-rate music on my burned mp3s. They also made me realize how horrible radio signals really are. Sounds like a bad thing but, trust me, I'm not complaining. Overall, they were very satisfactory. They do the job well and the price was on point. I didn't mention that in the same transaction I also bought the equivalent A-series 6x9's (model: TS-A6964R) and got a $25 discount off those. $55 total off retail price = happy customer.

I bought these speakers to replace the factory Bose speakers in my pickup. This is what GM should have done the first time. The speakers are clear, crisp and give great overall sound and bass. I had to totally re adjust all of my head units audio settings as these things were screaming compared to the Bose that barely did anything. If your looking for a decent speaker that wont break the bank and works, these are them. Just a note, for the newer GM vehicles with Bose, the factory speakers do have a clip style wiring that connects to the speakers. If you dont want to snip the connector off, and solder the wires, you can buy the conversion harness that will clip right to the factory clip for a plug and play hook up.

I bought and installed these Pioneer's because I liked the sound of them (minus the fact B. B. uses Amplifiers, to enhance the sound). Well, Pioneer not being a "famous" name for car speakers, outdid themselves on these. Very nice highs and mid-range sound; the Bass is as good as it gets, for a set of two, 6 & half, 3-way speakers. I highly recommend these to customers out there! And the 25% off, that day, was not-to-pass-up. I made the right choice 'cause I'm very happy with these. The mounting holes were right on, for my Honda, CRV.

I bought these on sale recently to replace my stock door speakers in my 2000 Honda Accord. I Still have the stock headunit in there but let me tell you the difference in quality is still phenomenal!!! I only need to turn it up about half of what i used to to get the sound coming out at the same volume as the stock speakers. Even better is these speakers didn't need any modification to fit in the door mounts. I would definitely recommend these and if I ever get another car with stock speakers I will be putting these in again.

These are relatively low cost speakers so you should expect a big improvement over low quality stock speakers but don't expect extremely high fidelity compared to expensive speakers. I'm running 4 of these in my 4 doors with an aftermarket head unit, no amp, no other speakers in the car, and they are plenty nice for our family car. They replaced the stock speakers and the difference was very distinguishable.

I used these in the jeep rear sound bar area,(roll bar) replaced factory radio with a 50 watt x 4 pioneeer head unit. has really crisp highs and clean mids. perfect matched with a sub woofer. its loud and clear enough that your not gonna hear your wife even if shes screaming...lol

ive been lookin at these pioneer speakers for a while now since they are pretty much a direct replacement for OEM front speakers. finally got these when price dropped to less than half orig. price. Wanted to upgrade sound in my Honda '03 ODY W/O cutting splicing wires. very satisfied with fit. only had to snip off the speaker prongs (w/ exacto blade=easy!#. I even used the original screws. NOTE: I got the metra#72-7800 connectors for Honda/acura vehicles as to not cut speaker wires. once connected sound was immediately improved over stock speakers. very clear defined sound, bass MUCH improved. kept my stock head unit, I readjusted settings since these pioneer speakers are much improved. good power and sound quality. I have placed 2nd order to replace rear stock speakers!!! see my pic #stock/pioneer) for reference.

I have a Mazda Miata which only has two speakers. I chose these 3-way speakers in hope of the best range of sound. Everyday on my way to work i get out and I'm deaf from the joy of turning them way up. And the bass out of them is amazing for such simple speakers.
