i totally can recognize it's different when i replaced this center speaker with my old whole system speakers. The sound is deeper and clearer, of course because it's bigger and sell separately, my old one is the whole set and smaller...but you definitely can trust the Pioneer Elite

It offers all of what I am looking for out of a center channel. The low's are crisp and mids are perfect. To give others who reads this review I idea of my taste in sound.....my previous center channel by Cambridge Sound which I owned for about 15 years now. It was time to upgrade mh center because I needed more vocals and lows from my center. Pros: Outstanding build quality and solid lows Cons: The rubber strips gives you a weird feeling.

I own the complete Pioneer Elite Dolby Atmos Enabled Speaker/Receiver Package (5.1.4) and these were amazing speakers even before Atmos Content was available but after watching Transformers Age of Extinction Blu-Ray in Dolby Atmos, my mind was blown beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I can't fathom how amazingly well the up-firing reflection of sound actually works. This truly is something you have to hear for yourself to be believed. I highly recommend taking the time to read both Atmos related white pages available on Dolby's website to make sure these are well suited for your viewing space.

I initially bought this to replace a Klipsch center but wasn't completely sold on it because I also wanted a center than contrasted my black Elite Atmos towers. I went back to the magnolia store and auditioned these with the B&W S2 and was blown away. At the time the Pioneer was 3/5 of the price of the B&W but they sounded so much better that I bit the bullet and got the B&W instead. The bass it had was just too good to pass up, even though this had almost comparable mids and highs. The low end would fall off while the B&W kept going

So I went and tested different center channels with the surround pioneer speakers that match this speaker. The image was lost because of the coloration. Getting a matching center speaker is a must for the pioneer elite system as a whole.

Was using an old hand me down JBL center speaker, it's amazing how much of a difference these pioneer elite speakers make when watching action packed movies. Feels like you're in the movie.

Solid speaker that will suit all of your audio needs

very crisp very very clear does not have the tin can sound like other high end center channel speakers I have had. perfect addition to any serious surround sound

I purchased this to match my Elite Tower Speakers and the sound really filles the room. Waiting for an ATMOS receiver now.
