This reciever is an awesome alternative to a traditional CD reciever, not many people still use CDs, so this allows connectivity via Bluetooth/aux but also allows regular radio listening. Great product for small projects, lightweight, shallow mounting depth

This product works perfect, at first i thought it had poor sound but it turns out you just need to adjust the sound settings. This stereo does not have a CD player, but their is no need for that because it has Bluetooth and connects immediately to your android or apple device. Also the microphone for making calls sounds clear and works perfect. I also am very happy because if you are on a road trip you can connect a tablet through Bluetooth and watch a movie on your tablet while using the speakers of the car for sound, which sounds as if you are in a movie theater. Overall i give this product 5 out of 5 stars, definitely recommend it to everyone.

I was looking to replace a JVC deck that I hated and came with the car when I bought it. I put in this new radio and was a world of difference in sound quality and performance for the price. Since this doesn't have a CD player it's very thin and easy for someone who has a lot of wires and adapters in the back. It's the fastest deck I have ever owned with the BEST Bluetooth audio quality for calls and music and is the fastest to connect to Bluetooth I have ever seen. This is the best deck I have ever purchased and I have tried them all.

This stereo works great with a first time car stereo system! It has a port in the back for a subwoofer/amplifier and it sounds great! Easy to use, and the bluetooth connects automatically to your phone without even having to touch a button. Music also plays automatically so you don't have to worry about it. Easy controls and not too complicated.

I purchased this open box, mainly because I wanted bluetooth capability in my older Honda Accord. This radio was a breeze to install and setup, and has a ton of features. I was able to clear out a great deal of space in the car since I no longer have a need for CDs. The microphone is easily concealed, and I have no complaints about call quality. I had a pioneer deck in this vehicle for the last decade, and this unit was a great upgrade from the previous one.

It's exactly perfect for Bluetooth audio and has an EQ that's adjustable to my own taste. links to the phone every time I get in. the price is spot on. It's like TVS when flat screens came out they were expensive but as the stuff got better they became cheaper. It's like a 400$ deck in 2008.. Got one for my girls car but it does everything we need it to and a sub channel so I may just get it for the truck too. I'd pair it with a alpine headunit amp and then a true amp for the sub and you'd be set to spend more on the subs and speakers. 2v pre out was always good for me threw all my car audio from my previous set ups. I only get pioneer headunits this is perfect fit and I'm not usually a cheapo. My truck had 2 Jl audio stealth boxes both with 10w6v2 and a 12w6v3 in my car so trust me when I say it's a good purchase if you only listen to your phone and enjoy music only.

Wonderful product from pioneer, best buys price is fantastic and I could not be happier with this unit the minute I cleaned my car and thought why do I still have all these CDs when I stream audio from apps and movies stored on my device there really is no need for a CD player and my factory unit is ugly to boot. This things is awesome I would like more animations on the display but understand that's reserved for the better color dot displays on the more expensive units plus might distract me while driving so whatever. This unit is Perfect and as a bonus since it has no CD player I would put my money on this fitting in 99% of vehicles of any kind since it's usually only depth that restricts units fitting. This unit is perfect my daughter who uses an iPod or her phone. The sound is good enough, and it was super easy to install. The size and weight made installing this unit in a '94 Jeep Grand Cherokee a breeze. No modifications at all. Features are great. The best part? It was bright enough in the Jeep to see the display in the daylight hours.

We really like this radio- the sound is crisp, the features are easy to use and the bluetooth makes hands free calls super easy. Very pleased with this purchase for our 16 year old.

Purchased for replacing stock radio in a 1998 Buick for teen. Has multiple inputs for access to music on his Android phone, bluetooth, USB, and aux cord. Adding the ability to make handsfree bluetooth phone calls is a HUGE bonus. We installed it at home with an accessory kit from Best Buy to fit the factory dash opening with ease. It sounds great. Read the instruction manual and keep it on hand for a while as there are so many features and you have to access them through a series of menus and submenus that are not obvious.

I needed a single DIN unit for my off-roading vehicle & have been happy with the connectivity between Pioneer & my Apple devices in the past. This unit is value priced & so you cannot expect the features that you'd find in their high-end navigation units. I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance, sound quality & Bluetooth streaming quality. On the negative side, there's no power button. This means that whatever you were last listening to on you phone will be played at the volume you left the unit when you shut the vehicle off. Also, the display is very dim in the day & very bright at night. Changing that setting is sort of a hassle. Lastly, it would be nice if you could change the color of the illumination. Overall, this is a fantastic unit for the price.

For the price and features I love it! I knew I was getting a good product being Pioneer. Having no CD mechanism makes this unit impressively small, and it won't be as susceptible to skipping and dust. I have it installed inside the center console of my Jeep, so remote is not necessary.

Bought this receiver to use in my fun bus. It has all the options I was looking for and great sound for a more reasonable receiver. The Bluetooth works great! My passengers can link up their phones and play their music, even from the back of the bus. Highly recommended!

Radio is light and easy to install. Plenty of space behind radio due to not haveing CD player. After a month now I am very impressed on the sound and ease of use.

Great receiver for the price. Does not have a CD player but includes everything else. The hands free works great, way better than my last unit.

I think I spent a whopping 60 dollars on the radio unit, new wiring harness and the in-dash adapter piece. It takes about 15 seconds to connect to my phone. It can hold 3 phones in its memory. Bluetooth range is adequate. Sound quality is just as good as the factory radio. Fun fact, I bought a brand new Jeep with the upgraded UConnect. The Pioneer has better range (2-3 times as far) and connects to my phone 1 minute and 30 seconds FASTER than my Jeep's stereo.

I upgraded my truck radio because my Bluetooth speakerphones kept breaking. The Bluetooth in the radio works great--radio volume goes down when phone rings and with Pandora it goes on when the truck starts, even if the phone is off. I did get some interference on a call once but it doesn't seem to be a serious problem so far. I was disappointed that my old flip phone wouldn't work with the radio but solved that by getting an iPhone. Installation was very professionally done.
